Mandy's POV

"What the hell happened? Can you just tell me who had the accident?" I said exasperatedly.

We were riding down the freeway at 90 mph, overtaking every truck and car that was ahead of us. It made me feel nauseous, like I could just vomit right there in the car. I gripped my seatbelt for dear life.

"I can't tell you... It's just- too much." He sighed, keeping his eyes fixed on the road.

"Dylan, whatever it is. I can take it." I assured him.

He suddenly just pulled me to his car and drove fast away from the studio. Mr. Jacques probably steaming angry right now cause I've been gone for at least two hours. He must think I just ditched him there. I could feel my phone vibrate wildly inside my pocket. But I chose to leave it be, because answering it would only make matters worse. He'd just ask where I am and successfully persuade me to go back to the studio.

I scoffed and faced the window, feeling quite irritated by Dylan.

"This is unbelievable." I rolled my eyes.

Dylan kept his straight yet worried face and his eyes fixed on the road. He made an exit from the highway and soon enough, the road grew very narrow. The trees curved up on top of us, letting very little light in. The road was cemented but bumpy because of the rocks that covered it.

"Can you at least tell me where we're going?" I said.

"We'll get there in a few minutes. Just relax." Dylan replied.

"Relax? Do you even hear yourself? How can I relax knowing that 'someone's' had an accident. And you're not even telling-" I started nagging but I was immediately cut off by Dylan.

"We're here."

My eyes grew wide.

He clicked off his seatbelt, ready to get out of the car.

I looked out the window. There was nothing but fields and trees for miles. Zero sign of civilization.

"What do you mean we're here? We're in the middle of fucking nowhere." I exclaimed in disbelief.

"This is as far as any car could go. We'll just walk the rest of the way." Dylan explained.

I looked out the window again and back at Dylan.

"Judging from that view, I don't think a hospital would come up for miles."

"We're not going to a hospital." Dylan replied.

"What?! But you said-" Dylan already got out of the car.

I got of the car nervously.

"Okay. Be honest. Are you planning on kidnapping me?" I walked up next to Dylan who was leaning against the car, as if admiring the view of the fields.

He looked at me, one eyebrow raised; as if my question was the stupidest thing he ever heard.

"Cause if you're planning on doing so, I'm not gonna fuss. I have no purpose back at Hollywood." I sighed, feeling quite melodramatic. Something about the atmosphere and the view, made me feel so sentimental. It made me feel like reminiscing back the memories; and not the good ones.

"See? This is exactly why I brought you here." Dylan gestured to the fields.

"What the heck? You said someone had an accident. Are you fucking kidding me?" I wanted to strangle him.

"Someone did. " he smirked and sddenly pulled me to the direction of the fields. "Come on!"
