Hello! I hope everyone had an amazing week! We had a conference last weekend, and it was soooo good! It's meant for girls ages 10-15, but I had gone to sing on the praise team. It was an amazing experience, and something I hope to do again!
Today, we're going to do a part two on My God Is...., something I talked about sometime last month. While scrolling through Pinterest(of course), I found a picture of a notebook, that had an attribute of God, and a scripture. So today, we are going to explore these references together.
My God is loving.
I'm sure we all know this verse. John 3:16.
"For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life."
My God is caring.
"Behold the fowls of the air: for they sow not, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feedeth them. Are ye not much better than they?"(Matthew 6:26)
My God is forgiving.
"As far as the east is from the west, so far hath He removed our transgressions from us."(Psalm 103:12)
My God is compassionate.
"Who redeemeth thy life from destruction; who crowneth thee with lovingkindness and tender mercies. Who satisfieth thy mouth with good things; so that thy youth is renewed like the eagle's."(Psalm 103:4-5)
My God is giving.
"He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all things?"(Romans 8:32)
My God is understanding.
"Oh Lord, thou hast searched me, and known me. Thou knowest my downsitting, and mine uprising, thou understandest my thought afar off."(Psalm 139:1-2)
My God is persistently pursuing.
"For the Son of man is come to seek and to save that which was lost."(Luke 19:10)
My God is reasonable.
"Come now, let us reason together, saith the Lord: thought your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool."(Isaiah 1:18)
My God heals.
"But he was wounded for our transgression, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed."(Isaiah 53:5)
My God redeems.
"For I know that my redeemer liveth, and that he shall stand at the latter day upon the earth.(Job 19:25)
Like I said before, there are many, many more scriptures that tell us how great our God is. I hope you found this encouraging, and know that there are scriptures you can go to when you need God the most. When you feel alone, when you feel lost, you can know that your God is persistently pursuing you. He loves you! Remember, you loved. You are cherished. You are not alone. God bless. Have an amazing week!
