You Are Not Alone

Stake Your Claim

     Hello everyone! I'm sorry that I didn't post last week! I honestly didn't have anything to post, but I wish I did so that I could have had something to encourage you! I have something now though. :)

     Stake your claim.

     What has God given you, that you feel you can't have? What does He WANT to give you, that you feel you are unworthy of? Peace? A calling? A burden?

     Stake your claim. God has an amazing plan for your life. Don't allow the devil to step in the way of that plan by filling your mind with, "I can't."

     You can. With God, nothing is impossible(Mark 10:27). You can! You can pray, and God can hear you! You can be used of Him! You can!!!

     Stake your claim on what God has for you.

     Has God given you a burden for a person, or even, a group of people? Has He given you a desire to pray? Has He given you a desire to worship? Has He given you a desire to be used of Him? Stake your claim!!

     Stake your claim on the mental freedom God has for you!

     Stake your claim on the financial freedom God has for you!

     Stake your claim on the plan He has for you!

     Stake your claim on what God has promised you!

     I'll give an example of something that I claimed. In April of 2018, April 1st or 2nd, I had a dream that one of my best friends, someone I love very much, who felt like family, moved back to where I live. She lived 14 hours away, and I hadn't seen her in almost two years. I had barely spoken to her in almost a year, at that time, for reasons I don't know of. I dreamed that she came back. She thrived, and smiled, and was happy to be back in a place where she felt safe. I woke up, wishing the dream was real.

     But it wasn't.

     I woke up that Tuesday morning, and prayed. "I claim that dream in Jesus' name. I don't know when it'll happen, but I believe that it will."

     Sunday rolls around. Her aunt is the youth Sunday School teacher, and has been one of my favorite teachers that I've had. She came into class with some news.

     She was coming back.

     I could hardly contain my excitement. I couldn't focus the rest of class, but all I could think was, "I dreamed about this. God gave me a dream about this, I claimed it, and now it's happening!!"

     Two months later, I walked into her house, and saw her. I hugged her, and we talked for two hours, picking up where we left off.

     Stake your claim. God works in mysterious ways. Just claim the promise He has for you.

     If He did it for me, He can certainly do it for you.
