Chapter 12

Nicole's POV

We finally arrive at my house, we go up to my room greeting my mom as we pass the kitchen.

"So what are we gonna do now?" Haechan asks.

"I don't know, maybe we could go to a park or something." Mark suggests.

"Yeah that one by the lake." Lucas adds in.

Haechan looks at Lucas as if he was crazy.

"It's okay Haechan I'm over that accident, it happened a long time ago, everyone we're going swimming."

I run downstairs.

"Mom we're going to Enchanted Cove is that okay with you?"

"That Lake from when you guys were little, of course I'm okay with it, I'm glad you guys are spending quality time together again, its been years."

"I'm glad too Mom."

I grab my keys and yell for the boys to hurry downstairs and we head out. 

*In The Car*

"So are you going to school tomorrow?" Lucas asks.

"Yeah, I am, Kyla and Xiyeon are probably worried sick."

"Yeah I'm sure they are too." Lucas adds in.

"Uh who are Xiyeon and Kyla?" Mark asked.

"Friends I met at my school, they're really nice."

"Can we meet them one of these days."

"Sure, maybe this Saturday."

"What's this Saturday?" Haechan asks.

"It's Kyla's birthday if you guys wanna celebrate with us you can."

"I'll have to check with my parents."

"I know you have to Haechan, what about you Mark?"

"I know I can come." He answers.

"Alright well you two are already automatically on the list."

"Sweet."

They do a little handshake and I giggle.

"You guys still haven't changed have you?" 

"Haha Nope, we're still the same."

We finally make it to the park.

"I miss the old times..." I say turning around in the driver's seat to look at Mark and Haechan.

"I miss how we would just run around without a care and just explore, have fun being around each other..."

"When no one judged you for being you cause..."

"We were kids." We all said in unison and then smile.

"Let's go." I say getting out of the car.

We all rush towards the swings.

"I call dibs on the first one!" I yelled.

"I got the one next to Nicole." They all say in unison which prompted us to laugh.

They all quickened their pace to get the swing next to me which Lucas ended up getting.

"No fair, you've got long legs." Mark says.

Lucas stuck out his tongue at Mark in which he returns and they start laughing.

"You guys are so childish." I say joining in on the laughter.
