Chapter 13

Nicole's POV

I wake up to Lucas's alarm going off a little bit earlier than usual.

"Since when does he wake up at 5:30?" I say getting up and rubbing my eyes and dismissing his alarm.

"Luke, get up." I shake him.

He groans and rolls over. 

"Luke!" I say again, shaking him a little harder.

"What?" He rolls back over facing me rubbing his eyes.

"Get up, your alarm just went off."

"It's 5:30 already?"

"Yeah, since when do you wake up that early?" I ask getting up and going towards my closet to pick out an outfit.

He chuckles.

"Since my mom got on to me for being an hour late to school."

"And why is that?"

"I  slept in."

I couldn't help but laugh.

"Okay, I understand."

I grab a black crop top, a pair of acid wash ripped jeans, and my red converse.

"I'm gonna go ahead and get ready and then take you home so you can get ready alright?"

He nods and lays back down scrolling through his phone. I walk to the bathroom and take a shower, I then finish and begin my morning routine, finally I get dressed and head back to my room only to see Lucas asleep again.

I shake my head and giggle a little.

"This guy...Luke!!" I smack his thigh, "Get up!!"

He raises up.

"What...I wasn't sleep."

"Then what were you doing?"

"I was resting my eyes."

"Whatever you say Luke, get your stuff so I can get you home."

I grab my keys and my phone then head downstairs with Lucas behind me.

"You got everything?"

He nods.

We then get into my car and head to Lucas's house.

"You're a bad sleeper." Lucas says.

I scoff.

"I am not."

"Yes, you are.", He laughs, "You had your feet all over me."

I quickly smack his arm and put my hands back on the wheel.

"Would you be quiet!"

He laughs harder.

"You're so mean." He says rubbing his arm.

I couldn't help but laugh along.

"If I sleep so bad, you should sleep on the floor next time."

"Nooo, I won't complain anymore, I promise."

"Mhmm, you're home, go inside and get ready. What time do you have to be at school?"

"7:00 why?"

"I'll drop you off, I don't have to go until 7:45."

"Okay, I'll make it quick so I can eat with you before school starts."

"Okay go hurry!"

We both get out and go inside his house and he rushes upstairs.
