It was still raining like crazy and the sky drawed itself over London like a big gray and wet blanket.
I was laying on my bed and looked at my phone. I couldn't tell why but I felt upset. I don't wanted to talk about it with anyone and when Mary and Freddie asked me if I wanted to go out with them and have some dinner I pretended to not feel well. I wasn't even lying because I actually didn't feel well. I just felt a bit empty. A bit very empty to be honest. I had many friends to talk to but if I didn't even know why I was feeling this way I didn't know how my friends could help me. Probably they wouldn't understand me anyways and I would be left with a bunch of my friends questions. It wouldn't help me at all. After a while I'd decided to call best friend Shane. Shane wasn't living in London. He lived in a little village a bit away from Cork in Ireland and was my best friend since I could think. When I was younger I used to call him every day and start crying because he lived in Allihies and I lived in London so we couldn't see each other everyday and my mother had to cheer me up again with him on the other end of the phone and his mother sitting next to him cheering him up too. We both had met when we were around 4 years old and my brother and I went to visit my grandparents in Ireland. I was half Irish. My mother came from London but my dad actually came from Cork. My grandparents later moved out of Cork and bought a little flat in Allihies. So when I was 4 years old and visited my grandparents suddenly Shane ran over my way. From that day on we were the best friends and whenever I came to Allihies we did everything together.
Shane picked up the phone directly.
"Daly." he said and a smile appeared on my face directly.
"Hello Mr. Daly. This is RTÉ radio. We would like to ask you a few questions about music." I said with a high voice and Shane started to laugh.
"Oh Mrs. Clark my old friend. It's you. How nice that you call me. I'm accepting every question if it's not about The Beatles." Shane never understood why I was a Beatles fan which always made me a bit sad because I actually loved The Beatles like crazy. Now we both started laughing and it was quiet for a second." I missed you Baby Girl."Shane said. He used to call me baby girl since we were 10 and a girl I hated called Samantha had a crush on Shane. I was having a crush on him too at that time and Samantha and I were never getting along quiet well anyways. I was getting so angry once when I was visiting my grandparents again and saw Samantha and Shane sitting next to each other that I shouted at her like a crazy witch and slapped her in her face. Of course she slapped me back but Shane was my best friend and he knew that and so he stopped us from killing each other and went away with me. After I've told him how I hated her and that she always called me baby girl he laughed a very long time and decided to call me that way too. But not because he was turning into Samantha now. Because I was like his little sister where he would always take care of he explained to me.
'' I miss you too."I said and felt how tears were forming up in my eyes. I didn't even start to cry but Shane already felt that something was wrong." Shhhh..."he said." Everything is fine Baby girl. I'm here for you. Tell me what's wrong."and then I started to tell him that I felt like I was empty and lonely. I told him about everything which had happened in the last months and couldn't stop crying. After Shane had cheered me up a bit he told me that he was having a surprise for me. I wondered what it was and he told me that I would see it tomorrow. I actually couldn't tell what it was but I promised to stay calm until I had my surprise.

The next day it still was raining but a few light parts were coming out of the dark sky and it made me feel a bit happier.
At about 4pm the phone rang and I answered it.
"Hey it's Shane. I've told you about your surprise yesterday right." he started.
"Very right." I said.
"Okay so you've got to come to Victoria Station." he said and hung up.
I wasn't even wondering why and made myself ready. This was the thing with our Friendship. I could trust Shane and he could trust me. Always. Even if it was absurd like hell. We could be sure that it wasn't dangerous or anything.

When I arrived at Victoria Station and the doors of the tube opened up I looked into Shanes face. I ran to him, started to cry and hugged him. And he hugged me. We seemed to stay there for hours because when we let go of our hug we were the only ones left on the platform.
"Shane... I AM SO HAPPY TO HAVE YOU BAAAAAACK!" I shouted and hugged him again. He was just smiling and hugged me even more tight. When I was letting him finally go I asked "Why Victoria Station? Why not Heathrow or wherever you came from?"
"Well... I just could remember that we definitely drove along Victoria Station when I was visiting you the last time." he said and we both started laughing.
We took each others hand and drove to my flat. It was a bit weird because I realized that something had changed. Normally it was me who took his hand. Because we always did. It was our best friend routine but today he did and it made everything feel like we were a couple. As if he had read my thoughts he smiled and said "Let's prank your Roommate and say that I'm your Boyfriend. Maybe we'll make him jealous." he laughed. "Freddie is in a relationship and I don't think there's anyone to make jealous-" I started but then I had to think of Roger. "Let's do this." I laughed and we went to my flat.

When we arrived no one was there and I showed Shane the whole flat. After he packed out his thing. (Of course he would stay here a while). I made us some tea and we sat on the couch under a big blanket. Like we did when we were young.
We talked about everything and when it was getting quiet late actually the door opened and Freddie came in. Followed by Mary, Brian, John and Roger.
I grinned at Shane and gave him a sign that the guy who came in at last was Roger.
Just a little look at Roger showed me his pissed looking face.
"Oh hi guys. This is my friend Shane." I said and smiled. Everyone greeted Shane and even Roger shook his hand for at least one second.
We all talked a lot and when we realized how hungry we all actually were Shane and I went to the restaurant where Roger and I had went to a few months ago too when Freddie was moving in.
On the way to the restaurant Shane started to laugh a little.
"This Roger." he laughed. "Poor Guy. He looks jealous like hell and I don't know if he's just jealous at me or everyone but his face... Amazing" Shane laughed.
After we'd ordered everything and went home we talked about many things again. We reached home with lots of laughter and the door was opened by a not happy looking version of Roger.
"There you are. He said." Last time the two of us went there we were faster. "he added and closed the door behind us.
" Well I don't think it was raining that hard was it? "Shane answered.
" Oh yes it was. Very strong. "Roger said with a challenging face.
Shane rolled an eye and made his way to the others. I was left alone with Roger but I didn't try to talk to him.
I took of my Jacket and hang it at the hallstand.
After this I went after Shane.
Roger was left with a undefinable face.
