After reminiscing with Ned and taking my mind off of the whole situation, I walked back home.

I opened the door to the compound and hung my jacket on the coatrack. I saw Wanda standing by the door with her arms crossed. Shit. They knew I was gone.

I sighed and took off my shoes, looking at her.

"They're mad, aren't they?" I asked.

"No. They didn't notice. I did, however," she said.

"Are you mad?" I asked. Wanda smiles and shook her head.

"Of course not. I'm happy that you're confident enough to leave now," she said.

"Me too," I said with a smile.

"Now, get back up to your room before they notice you were gone and ask a million questions," Wanda said with a giggle. I smiled at her and used my super speed to go up the stairs and to my room.

As I was in, what I call, the speed zone, everything was in slow motion. I was just moving so fast that regular time seemed to go extremely slow.

Before I went to my room, I ran into the kitchen to see Bucky holding a can of (f/s). He was about to open it, so I grabbed it and replaced it with a carrot.

I laughed to myself as I ran back up to my room. I exited the speed zone, and time went back to normal.

I cracked open the can of (f/s) and drank it. Using super speed for a long time requires caffeine or sugar to get my blood sugar back up, because I'm using a ton of energy.

I finished the can of soda and decided to go to the roof. The sun was setting, and the sky was stained with streaks of pink and gold. It was beautiful.

I opened my window and flew to the roof, sitting at my usual spot. I swung my legs over the edge and breathed in the fresh New York air.

I looked down to see the busy streets filled with people and taxis. I looked up at the sky to see the sun going down, hiding itself behind the buildings.

"Hey," I heard a semi familiar voice say from behind me. I turned around to see a girl with black hair, green eyes, and a noise piercing.

I spring up and my hands radiated with power.

Chaz.

"Get away from me," I said angrily. She gave me a calm smile.

"I don't want to hurt you. I want to explain," she said.

"Explain what? The fact that you put me in a coma for 13 years and ruined my life?" I exclaimed. Chaz sighed and her smile faded away.

"Listen, (Y/n). I never wanted to kill you. Mess with you, maybe. But never kill you," she said. She raised her hand and I instantly felt calm.

Shit. I forgot that she controls the stone in my wrist.

"Then why did you?" I asked.

"I was controlled by Hydra. Out of everyone, you should understand how that is," she said. I gave her a sympathetic smile. I did understand. She had no control over her actions.

"I do understand. I don't forgive you, but I understand," I said.

"I've felt that you've been anxious a lot lately. Whenever you feel a negative emotion or use your powers, I can feel it," she said.

"Okay, and?" I asked. She sighed.

"I think I can help you," she said.

"How's that?" I asked.

"Well, as you know, I can control your emotions. Maybe we have a deal where you stop tracking me, and I help you control your powers," she said.

"What about the X-Men? I can't stop them from tracking you," I said.

"I'll take care of them. Their tech is nowhere near as advanced as Stark's. They'll never find me," she said with a smirk.

"Deal. Don't mess with the Avengers. Don't mess with me. Don't mess with Peter. Just calm me when needed, and we'll leave you alone," I said. Chaz smiled and nodded.

"Thank you (Y/n). Your forgiveness means the world to me," she said.

"Thanks. Uh, where have you been this entire time?" I asked.

"I was traveling through space. I made a couple of friends. A blonde lady, a dude with a cool mask, a raccoon, it's crazy up there," Chaz said with a chuckle.

"Did you happen to meet a group called.. the guardians?" I asked.

"Guardians of the galaxy. Yep, I met them," she said.

"I did too. I miss them. If you go up to space and find them again, tell them to give me a visit," I said.

"Of course. I'll see you around, (Y/n). It was nice seeing you again after all this time," she said.

"I would say same, but you did kind of ruin my life," I said jokingly. Chaz laughed uncomfortably.

"Tell Bucky I said hi. If he won't try to find me and rip my legs off," she said.

"I'll try. See you, Chaz," I said. Chaz waved and flew off into space, leaving a trail of yellow and green power behind her.

A part of me was thankful that Chaz changed. Another part of me didn't believe her. A third part of me wanted food.

I flew back down to my room and crawled through the window. I saw Natasha walk in with a steaming plate of (f/f). She smiled and placed it on my desk.

"Natasha?" I asked before she left.

"Hm?" She asked, turning around. I walked up to her and gave her a hug. She was stiff, but hugged back.

"Thank you for being there for me. Even after all of these years," I said. She smiled and tucked a piece of my hair behind my ear.

"Of course. You're family, (Y/n)," she said. I smiled as she walked out of my room, and I enjoyed my (f/f) in peace.
