I gingerly walked back into the compound after crying my eyes out with Steve. Peter was there, pacing in the living room.

"Thank god," he said, running over and hugging me. The other Avengers walked in and sat down either on the floor or the couch.

"What's going on?" Peter asked, looking around at everyone's devastated faces.

"Tony..." Steve started. Peter understood right away and looked at me, tears in his eyes.

"Please tell me this is a joke," he said. I shook my head as tears started streaming down his beautiful face.

I hugged him, and he sobbed into my shoulder.

Tony's funeral was the next day. Everyone gathered around to see Pepper put a figurine of the arc reactor with the words "Proof Tony Stark has a heart" engraved on it on a beautiful arrangement of flowers. She placed it in a lake and let it flow off while everyone watched.

Everyone was there. All of the Avengers, the Guardians, even Carol and Chaz were there.

After the initial ceremony, it was time for speeches. Steve went first.

"Tony and I were never on the best of terms. Hell, we even hated each other at one point. But we both knew that together, we would save the world. Together. As a team," Steve said. Pepper got up and left the room, because she couldn't stop crying. Natasha went after her to calm her down.

"Tony would've been happy to see all of us here together. Sure, he had problems with some people, but he would just he happy to know that, despite our differences, we all came together anyways. Tony Stark. He will be missed for eternity," Steve said, choking up. I think he had more to say, but couldn't go on. He left the podium and sat at his spot next to Bucky and Sam.

A couple more people gave speeches, each of them crying in the middle of it.

Next, it was Peter's turn.

"Mr. Stark and I have had a rocky past. He was like a father to me when I was a teenager, and then turned into a friend. We just reunited, and I hate that our new friendship had to end so soon," Peter said, wiping a tear from his eye.

This must've been so hard for him. Tony gave everything to Peter 15 years ago, and Peter now had to say goodbye to the only man that treated him like a son.

After Peter's speech, it was my turn. I was the last speech.

"Tony Stark. Wow, I don't even know where to start. Tony was the man that was there for me no matter what was happening. Even when I was a soldier, and even when I was in the coma. Tony was the father that I never had. The man who gave me tough love, but was reassuring when I needed it. He's the one who had my back when I was in fights with people. The one who calmed me down when I was having anxiety attacks. Tony Stark is truly one of the best people I know. Seeing him leave us is the most heartbreaking thing I'll ever have to go through. I hope you can hear us Tony, because we sure as hell miss you," I said, not caring that tears were streaming down my face.

People clapped as I walked away from the podium and out of the room. I leaned against the wall and sobbed, not caring who saw or heard me.

"That was a great speech," I heard a familiar Russian accent say. I looked up and saw Wanda and Natasha standing in front of me.

"It was my fault," I said in between sobs. Natasha pulled me in and gave me a hug. Wanda joined that hug, and I cried into Natasha's shoulder.

"It wasn't your fault, (Y/n). You did all you could," Natasha said.

"It wasn't enough," I said.

"Yes it was. Tony died knowing that he was loved by you and all of us. There's nothing you could've done to stop it," Wanda said.

"Do you want to leave? We can go get food and help you calm down," Natasha said, running her hands through my hair. I nodded as she guided me out the door, her arm around me.

Wanda opened the door of the passenger to the car, and Natasha helped me in. After getting adjusted, Wanda drove us to the nearest Chili's.

"Hi, welcome to Chili's," the host said. I smiled because of the Vine as he guided us to a table.

We sat in silence as we looked at the menu.

"Drinks?" The waitress asked.

"Hold on. Is your name.. Bella?" I asked. The waitress looked terrified.

"Yes?" She said.

"It's me! (Y/n)! From high school," I said. She looked confused, but then excited.

"I thought you died!"

"Nope!"

After reuniting with Bella and getting her new number, I felt a little better. Still terrible, but better.

Natasha drove us home, because Wanda had one too many margaritas and was drunk out of her mind, sitting in the backseat.

"Did you know that one time Pietro physically beat me with a chair," Wanda slurred from the backseat.

"Thanks! I didn't ask!" Natasha said jokingly.

"Listen here Bitch Widow, it hurt," Wanda said. I burst into laughter as we pulled up to the compound. Natasha and I helped carry Wanda inside and up to her bedroom.

"Is she drunk?" Bucky asked as I walked down the stairs.

"Yes she is," I replied.

"Are you okay?" He asked.

"No. Not at all. But I'm managing," I said, trying not to cry again.

Rest In Peace Tony Stark. You'll be dearly missed. By everyone.
