I found a wall
That keeps me safe
From prying eyes
And angry hearts
It saved me from
That lying light
From fake out friends
And fighting words
And as I stood alone,
Along this wall I found
A startling fact came about
This was not a wall at all
But instead
A true friend
With a stumbling soul
Who thought me to be
Their wall of protection
