I had a wish
A crumbling wish
That I would not find
One of my own
One who knows
Of what I've known
And one who feels
What I feel
For which reality
Is to be realAnd yet I see them
Again and again
But I'm too afraid
To not play pretend
And in my heart
I want to help
But my mind's the part
That stops myself
For I am a coward
Stuck in my shell
With no motivation
To climb out this wellSo now I wait
For an eventual collapse
And I hope for the one
That they relapse
But if I'm to be
The one who should fall
Well, I say don't worry
I'll still take your call
And in the end
Nothing seems to change
This forever loop
Is what's in future's rangeMake sure your true friends know you appreciate them.
Just take a moment and explain to them how much they mean to you.
I know that a lot of people would appreciate that.
Until next time - ☔
