I want to stop with all these old rhymes
How often can one use the word times?
Why not instead fit in the word limes?
Sure it makes no sense
And please don't take offense
But I need something new
For example a lovely shoe
Now that wasn't so bad
There's lots of fun to be had
When things aren't so intense
And we allow ourselves not to make sense
Using the same word twice?
Oh my!
And you don't have to admit
But it still looks as nice as when I try
So now I'll try and use it once more
Please don't try and close this door
Try and relax, don't be so tense
Cuz things don't always need to make sense
Of that I am certain
Now I better quit will I'm ahead
Now for the curtain
