We were driving the road
With no guiding light
And the car broke down
In the middle of the nightNo one else there to help
No one was going to arrive
No one to help fix
This shattered driveI'm leaning against our car
Staring up into the sky
And I just couldn't help it
But I too broke and criedAll my companion could do
Was sit next to me
For never before had they seen
How fragile I could beAnd all I could think
Was of my past few days
Every little problem
From all their different waysIt all caught up
It all toppled down
From my carefully balanced scales
Set to hide my mind's twisted townI sat, head hung low
With voices whispering
Reminding
And grinding awayThe supportive hand
Of my dear companion
Just made everything worse
For my secretive dominionThen I stood
A painfully fake smile on my face
I helped my companion up
From their own set placeAnd we decided to walk
The rest of the roads
For we already hit bottom
There are no more cheat codesNow the scales are being built
To try once again
With the sliver of hope
That this time doesn't end with painSo this lacks a good rhythm.
Until next time - ☔
