"This plane ride is longer than when we got to the damn academy." Faye said as she curled into her blanket.

I laughed and looked beside me to see Bronx snoring, his girlfriend laid with her head on his shoulder. He was a good guy and his girlfriend was apparently very pretty and Jolene needed her.

My lucky ass got seated beside Faye who complains every five minutes.

"Why is it so cold?" She asked pulling the blanket up higher over her neck.

See?

I reached up and shut her little ac off watching her scowl at it.

Pulling my hair from its ponytail, I let my hair spill down and tried to ignore the stare I kept getting from the guys sitting the the row beside us.

"Hey Annalise, you a Virgin?" One of them, Rolf, asked smirking at me.

Rolf was a very well built man, definitely not a dream boat but he had the muscle down.

I think his creator forgot to add a brain.

I eyed them all "You guys honestly make it so hard to stay on your side." I said shaking my head and forcing myself to fall asleep.

Standing in the middle of the roses, I smiled and looked up at Michael, his eyes catching mine. God I almost forgot how handsome he is, how annoyingly breath taking.

He gave me a small glare but as I began pulling the dress off, letting it fall to my red heels, I smirked at him.

His eyes taking in the lingerie, "I missed you." I said softly as I stepped toward him.

Michael took a step forward, his fangs growing as he watched my neck.

It is just a dream right? A bite or two can't hurt.

His hands pulled me to his chest, running up my skin and over my hair. "A rose." He said softly before sinking his teeth into my neck.

The blood poured from me and into his mouth, I was backed into the wall with my own moans turning me on.

Then he wouldn't stop, and what once was blissful was now horrifying.

Gripped my neck tighter, so tight that I let out a cry and then the snapping sound came. Everything went black.

"We're landing. Buckle up." Fayes voice came and a nudge to my side followed.

Fuck.

Where's Lincoln when I need him?!

Damnit.

After the unloading, the baggage claim, train ride, bus and then the boat, we finally made it. One thing about werewolves is that they are highly territorial and very protective.

Their kind was wiped out by Israfel when the true alliances were born. They wanted to be at peace with humans, the vampires split to two distinct sides. Our side was the one that took the weapon of control and hid it, keeping it away from any of Israfels followers to protect our allies.

The werewolves then found sanctuary and hid to avoid ever being hunted. They've been hiding since then and I believe Jolene is ready to give them their freedom to be out in the open protectively.

Once the hunting knife is in their hands, no one can control them and they can rise again. It's a bit horrifying to think about when you realize that they actually eat vampires. But I also think it's terrible that this one knife can control every wolf and that's why they hide. They can't disobey the holder.
