Normal P.O.V

The Grand Magic Games had ended, but this was no time for celebration.

In fact, the world seemed to be ending.

Yukino and Lucy had been taken by the council as soon as the games were over, and were currently being forced to open the Eclipse Gate.

They were currently in front of the gate, their respective guilds watching them from the sidelines. The guilds crowded around the guards, who were blocking them from getting to the girls.

"We must stop it! We can't let it open!" Lucy cried, trying her best to stop her own movements.

She managed to stop walking, struggling to stand in place. When she came within close proximity to the gate, her body moved on its own. She had no control, the only thing she was able to use was her voice.

"No! Don't listen to her! Keep it open!" Arcadios had yelled, stopping the guards from trying to close it. The guard behind Lucy pushed her, forcing her to move again.

"Please, stop! Keep it closed!" She rushed out, walking closer to Yukino who was already by the gate.

"Someone, help! Natsu, do something!" She cried, tears streaming down her face as her body ached from trying to stop.

Natsu growled, trying to rush forward but was stopped by the guards.

Sting had heard the struggles of Lucy, and he wanted nothing more than to run in and help the pair. If he broke through the wall of guards, Lucy and Yukino would surely get hurt.

The girls each held one hand to the door, a golden circle forming around their feet. Magic power could be felt in waves around the area.

Magic swarmed the keys that were placed in the door, the giant wheel spinning at unimaginable speeds. The light only grew brighter, the magic getting stronger.

The gate started to open, a loud roar shattering the ears of everyone within earshot.

When the gate had fully opened, Lucy was thrown across the pavement, her cries amplifying.

Lucy's eyes widened in horror when she watched a dragon claw step out of the blinding light from the  gate.

"No, no no!" Lucy screamed, running out of the way to avoid being crushed under the beasts sharp claws.

"Yukino! Where are you?" Lucy screamed, figuring the only way to close the gate would be to use all twelve keys, since they had all been used in order to open the gate.

The area around Lucy was filled with high winds and flying debris. Her ears were ringing due to all the different screams and sounds around her.

Her vision was blurry and her mind was fuzzy.

Lucy found Yukino frozen in fear, all of the color in her face seemed nonexistent. "Come on, Yukino! Get yourself together, we don't have enough time!" Lucy shook the scared girl, causing her to quickly move.

At this point, seven dragons had made their way through the gate, with an eighth one on the way.

All of the dragon slayers took off, each picking a dragon to follow.

"Come on Yukino, we have to do this! Give it all you got!" The girls had stood in front of the gate, pushing all of the magic power they had left into summoning all of their spirits in the hopes of closing the gate.

Within seconds, the girls were crying out in pain, however, the spirits had been successfully summoned, starting to close the gate.

The eighth dragon was trying to push through, the girls somehow pushing more power out, giving the spirits the final push they need to slam the doors to a close.

When the gate had become shut, the girls fell over, not having the strength to move. They had used colossal amounts of power twice within minutes.

This had caught the attention of a dragon who's scales were the color of a jade stone.

He picked the unconscious Lucy up, sniffing her with delight. "This human will make a good snack," He cackled, those around Lucy watching in horror.

Before Lucy could be eaten, Happy had come to her rescue. Happy had carried her away from the dragon with tears in his eyes, he looked everywhere frantically for Natsu, but he couldn't find him. Happy looked for the first people he saw, which happened to be Sting and Rogue.

"Sting, Rogue! Help!" The two looked up and saw Lucy who looked lifeless. Anger boiled up in Stings body as Happy laid her on the ground.

"What happened?" He seethed, vowing to destroy who or what did this to her.

She had barley been able to stand that morning, yet she was willing to protect the city at any cost, even if that meant her health.

Sting walked over to Lucy and kneeled down next to her. He used the back of his knuckles to caress her cheek, feeling her scratched and bruised skin.

Sting had little time to fawn over Lucy before two dragons had come forward. Their roars causing the slayers to double over in pain, holding their throbbing ears.

"Happy, put Lucy behind that wall. She'll be safe over there for now!" Sting shouted at the cat before getting into a battle stance.

He was wanted to protect the city, but he wanted to protect Lucy the most.
