Normal P.O.V
Lucy walked into the guild the next morning with a small pep in her step, to which went unnoticed by everyone but Mira who had her eye out for the blonde.
"Who's the special guy, Lucy?" Mira questioned the girl as soon as she sat down.
"O-oh uh, he's just an actor I saw on the lacrima last night. No one special..." Lucy trailed off, knowing fully well that Sting was someone special, but she couldn't tell that to Mira just yet.
"Hmm okay Lucy, I'll let it slide for now, but just know I'll find out soon enough~" Mira sung to the girl, making Lucy's face turn a ghostly white that could rival Mira's hair.
"A-Anyways, can I have a milkshake?" Lucy asked with hope in her voice, to which Mira handed her one immediately.
"Thank you," Lucy hummed, taking a sip of the sweet liquid.
"Luce? Why do you smell different?" Natsu sniffed Lucy, making the girl erupt in a panic. She hadn't showered yet that morning, meaning she was covered in Stings scent.
"I bumped into someone on the way here, and ya know...that's why." Lucy spoke at a fast pace.
"It smells familiar, maybe two people have similar scents." Natsu shrugged, making Lucy once again thankful for Natsu's denseness.
Lucy felt bad for lying to her friends, but she knew if they found out, they would not be happy.
Sting made Lucy incredibly happy, and she was grateful that she finally found someone who made her feel the way she does.
She almost felt as though she was living in a book, having a hidden lover to fulfill her dreams. The only thing she regretted was not having someone to talk about him with. But at the same time, that's what made her relationship so great, he was her little secret that would always be in her heart.
"Lucy!" A hand was woven in front of her face, snapping her out of her daydream.
"W-What?" She asked, stealing another sip of her frozen drink.
"Master called us to his office, come on." Gray smiled, making Lucy follow him up the stairs into masters office wondering why on earth he wanted Team Natsu in his office.
"Finally, welcome everyone," Gramps began. "I have a special mission for your team. You will be partnered with another guild to help take down an evil guild called Darkness Rises. They are not a big guild, but they are very powerful, hence the need for another guilds assistance." Lucy looked around and made eye contact with each member of her group, each telling her that this will be a walk in the park.
"You leave tomorrow morning. That is all." He muttered, dismissing the small group of mages.
"I'm going to head home and pack, bye guys!" Lucy waved, wanting to get home and snuggle into her bed.
Lucy also knew that she had to write Sting a letter saying she will be gone for a little while, she wasn't sure what guild they were paring up with, it could have been Sabertooth, but she wanted to be prepared incase it wasn't.
With her time, Lucy wrote Sting a small note saying she will be back soon and that she will miss him. Lucy was hoping that Sting didn't show up while she was gone, she didn't want to miss one of his few visits.
They were the highlight of her week.
