Fairy Tail Vs. Sabertooth

Normal P.O.V

This was the fight of a lifetime.

The fight everyone wanted to have the sheer luck to witness.

The battle of the dragon slayers.

And tensions were very high considering what had happened earlier that morning with Lucy.

Both sets of fighters were ready to go, one set more than the other as they had a strong motivator on their minds.

Natsu and Gajeel were determined to get revenge for Lucy, no matter what it took, and no matter how long. They need to make Sabertooth pay for what they did to their Lucy.

Sting knew the fight was going to be intense as there was a whole new purpose beyond the games, he was just hoping that he could pull through.

The bell had rung signaling the fight, and Sting wanted this to be over as soon as possible. Without hesitation, he and Rogue had made the first hits.

Both Natsu and Gajeel had been surprised, within seconds they had been hit, both of them barely having the time to react before another round was delivered.

Sting was feeling satisfied with himself, that is until he remembered the battered girl form FairyTail, guilt filling his core.

While Sting was thinking, Natsu had delivered a blow to Sting, knocking him back a few feet. Sting shook his head and knew he had to win this.

He couldn't let some girl he hardly knew get in his way, no matter how he felt about her.

Sting had gotten his head back into the game and delivered blow after blow onto Natsu.

Nearly securing his win, or so he thought.

Sting knew he had to attack when Natsu was down, he knew that he didn't have enough power to overtake Natsu when he was wasn't down.

As a last ditch effort, Sting released one of his most powerful attacks, the Holy Nova.

The stadium shook, caving into itself due to all of the pressure. All of the boys started to fall, using the floating pieces of debris to move around.

Natsu and Gajeel still fought, sending blasts of energy the twin dragons way.

They dodged, growing frustrated that the FairyTail slayers weren't being defeated.

"Come on Rogue, let's end this now!" Sting growled, running over to his partner as he hit the ground. They were both determined to win, the feeling of the win flowing in their bloodstream as they charged their unison raid.

When the slayers looked up, Gajeel was gone and Natsu had seemed to gain a lot of energy.

Sting kept his eyes on Natsu as the flowing ball of energy between him and Rogue grew, magic swirling at ungodly speeds.

"Now!" Sting screamed, pumping his last bit of magic into the attack, launching the ball at the lone mage who never moved out of the way.

The arena shook again, being silenced by the pure energy of the attack.

Smoke had filled the air, and the twin dragons laid on the floor. Shock in their eyes, and defeat in their hearts.

They laid motionless for a few moments, the bell sounding again signaling Natsu's almost singlehanded win.
