Normal P.O.V

Powerful, loud and agonizing screaming could be heard from above.

Lucy looked up to see an immense ball of fire coming towards the ground at full force, the pressure sending everything around her flying.

Her body was too scared to move, but luckily Yukino's was not. Yukino pulled Lucy out of the way, saving the girls life.

Fire surrounded the girls and the ground violently shook, making the girls bodies fly through the air.

Lucy hit the wall at full speed, her back aching tremendously with the force of the impact. Lucy covered her face, fearful of what she was about to face.

The ground finally stood still, and Lucy picked herself off the wall and looked forward to see a mess of people and dragons.

"Natsu!" Lucy cried happy tears.

Natsu was standing on top of one dragon who still roared with life, glaring down at another dragon who laid lifeless on the sharp rocks.

Her eyes followed Natsu's, seeing a wizard laying across the lifeless dragons back.

Suddenly it registered in her mind that the gate was gone, Lucy falling to the ground clutching her chest.

Natsu had done it.

He defeated a dragon.

The gate was gone.

Natsu had destroyed the gate.

Lucy cried out in joy, tears of pure bliss running down her sensitive cheeks.

She was crying with so much relief that she almost couldn't breathe.

She had hoped with every fiber of her being that the dragons would disappear and life would be okay again.

Suddenly everything was surrounded in a brilliant golden glow. If Lucy wasn't so terrified, she'd say it was beautiful.

The pieces of broken buildings around her turned into golden speckles, disappearing into the night sky.

The jaded dragon in front of her began to roar before dissolving into the golden speckles that danced through the air around her.

The air was filled with the golden pieces, the area was silenced.

The town stared to become whole again, and it looked as if no damage was done.

The once demolished town was gaining life back. She watched in adoration as the buildings rebuilt themselves, almost looking frozen in time.

Her body felt warm, almost as if the glitter was trying to comfort her.

Her keys appeared in her hands, relief filling her heart. She held them close, repeatedly thanking them for everything they had done.

Lucy felt overwhelming happiness, they had won.

She couldn't believe that they fought dragons again and would live to tell the tale. All of their efforts coming to fruition.

Lucy looked up to the sky, holding out her hand to catch the soft particles.

Her mini celebration took a pause when her mind trailed back to the boy who had fought so hard to save her when she was unconscious.

Was he alive?

"Blondie!" Lucy's tearful eyes widened, and she turned around to see his smile.

He was alive.

He was all tattered and messy, and Lucy could only look at him fondly.

Lucy used her last bit of her remaining strength and ran to him, she ran as fast as she possibly could in her current state, throwing herself into his arms.

She cried happy tears, and Sting was surprised. Why was she so happy to see him?

He shook his head, that didn't matter right now.

All that mattered was that the girl was in his arms, hugging him as if he would disappear if she let go.

His arms surrounded her shaking body, his own calm and steady.

He held her tight, and everything in his world seemed to be going right.
