Hey guys!! Thank you so so much for the reads and votes, it really means a lot to me that something I love is being enjoyed by many other people!!

I know we're 10 chapters in with barely any stinglu/sticy action, but I promise more will be happening soon!! It'll pick up A LOT in the next few chapters! Don't worry, this book is FAR from over, I have over 20 more parts written right now, and more on the way! So, without further ado, enjoy this chapter!

Normal P.O.V

Lucy's cries suddenly stopped, and her grip loosened dramatically.

Sting opened his mouth to find out what was wrong but before he could say anything, he heard Lucy gasp and she began to fall.

Sting reacted quickly and picked her up.

"Lucy? Hey, come on now!" He panicked, her face was pale, and her breathing was slow.

He was in a panic looking for Wendy. Lucy needed Wendy now more than ever. He spotted the little girl and shrieked her name, her head quickly turned and her eyes widened.

"W-What happened? I'm barely sensing any magic power!" Wendy breathed, her hands already emitting a soft blue glow.

"I don't know! She was fine and then she just passed out!" Princess Hisui let out a loud cry.

"This is my fault! If I hadn't forced her to open the gate this wouldn't have happened. She used up so much power, then she had to close the gate. I don't know how she's alive." Princess Hisui let frustrated tears fall from her eyes, her hands formed a fist and her teeth were clenched.

Sting looked down at Lucy and gave her a small smile, he knew she was strong, but this strong? Using all of her power to save everyone, she was a selfless girl.

Sting was proud of her, she was brave.

Realization kicked into Stings mind and he was brought back to when happy had brought Lucy to him.

That's why she was out cold. She had already exceed her power once, and when she has regained even the slightest bit, she did it again.

Wendy had done all she could do. She said that Lucy will be fine, she just needed rest. Which is exactly what they all needed.

It could take days for her power to restore fully, considering what the girl had just been put through, she would have to take a break to heal her body.

Sting had offered to carry Lucy back to her room, and FairyTail quietly agreed, allowing Sting to comfort the girl, as he seemingly carried her with great care.

He of course threw out the excuse that he didn't want to disturb her, when in reality he just wanted to make sure she made it back safely.

He gently set her on her bed and tucked her in. Lucy had wiggled around and made herself comfortable, making Sting smile at her.

He hated to admit it, but she really was adorable.

Sting watched her with adoration, still a feeling of being proud fresh in his bones.
