Avoiding

Barry was not talking to me. I miss him but I took Cisco's advice and gave him some space.

"You should stay home today." Lenny said. "We can spend the whole day together."

"I wish I could baby but I can't." I said getting out of bed. Lenny had spent the night at my place. Cisco didn't know of course. He would freak out.
'Barry better not lay a hand on her' I heard him say. Well think. Oh yeah I can read minds but I haven't told anyone.

"Barry isnt even talking to me right now. And I dont love him." I said. Getting on top of him. "I love you lenny." He pulled me closer to him and kissed me.

"You need to stop reading my mind." He said. Hes the only person I told.

"Sorry. I cant help it." I giggled. I got up and went to my bathroom to take a quick shower. Once I finished I, blow dried my hair, and brushed my teeth. I walked out the bathroom and saw Lenny falling asleep again. I got dressed and then walked over to his side.

"You can stay here if you want." I whispered. I kissed his forehead lightly. "I love you Leonard." He mumbled something but I couldn't understand him. He was half asleep. I went to Cisco's room. It was empty. I walked to the living room and saw him sitting down.

"Finally. You take way too long to get ready." He complained. We drove to Jitters first to buy coffee. I bought alot of food for me and for Barry. I got all his favorites.

"Are those for you or for Barry? I cant tell because you both eat so much." Cisco asked.

"For me and for Barry. But mostly for me." I said. Cisco gave me a weird look.

"What?" I asked.

"I dont think Barry is going to feel better just with food."

"Then what should I do?" I asked.

"He'll be happy if you go out with him." Cisco said with a hopeful look on his face.

"I'm not breaking up with Leonard." I said. "Whether you like him or not he is my boyfriend."

We got our food and drove to star labs. We gave everyone their coffee and I scanned the room for Barry. He wasnt there.

"Hey caitlin. Where is Barry?" I asked.

"He's on the treadmill." She answered.

"Thanks." I said with a smile. I walked over to Barry. "Hey Barry. I brought you some coffee. And a lot of food."

"Thanks." He said as he got off the treadmill. He reached his hand out to grab it but I pushed it away. He looked at me confused.

"You can have it if you talk to me." I said. He sighed but gave in.

"Why have you been avoiding me Barry?" I asked him.

"I dont know Lily. I just felt embarrassed after...you know."

"Well I missed talking to my best friend." I said.

"I just need some space right now. I'm not mad at you okay?" I nodded and walked away. At least he wasn't mad at me. I walked back to the rest of the team. They were all gathered around a computer looking at something.

"What's going on?" I asked, curiously. I looked at the computer and froze. It was a picture. It was a picture of me. With Lenny.

"I found this on the security camera." Dr. Wells said. "Care to explain what you're doing with Leonard Snart?"

"This was before I knew who he was." I said.

"So once you found out that he tried to kill Barry you stopped seeing him right?" Dr. Wells asked. I looked down.

"Is that right Lily?" He asked again.

"Leonard Snart is my boyfriend." I said.

"Cisco. I'm assuming you knew about this." Dr. Wells said turning to look at Cisco.

"No. Cisco didnt know. I didnt tell anyone." I said before Cisco could say yes. I didnt want Cisco getting in trouble because of me.

"You do realize that Leonard Snart is a danger to Barry right?" He asked me. I nodded. "You are putting Barry in more danger. So either you stop seeing him or you are not welcome at star labs anymore."

"What?" I said in disbelief.

"I cannot have you putting Barry in danger."

I looked at Caitlin. She was silent.

"Caitlin are you really gonna let him do that?" I asked.

"Lily, I'm so sorry but Dr. Wells is right"

I grabbed my stuff and began to walk out of star labs.

"You're dating Snart?"

I turned around and saw Barry.

"I'm so sorry Barry. I should of told you."

"I cant believe you would do that." He said. He sighed. "Well you're leaving star labs so I'm guessing you aren't breaking up with him. I hope you're happy at least."

I walked back home. I went into my room and saw Lenny still laying down on my bed. I smiled and laid down next to him. He wrapped his arms around me tightly. How can someone so cold make me feel so warm.

"You're back early." He said.

"Everyone found out that I'm dating you. I'm not allowed to go back. I'll probably go back to working at jitters." I said.

"You gave up your job for me? How thoughtful." He said sarcastically making me giggle

"I'm not breaking up with you. They dont need me anyways."

"So I was thinking," He started. "We have been together for a few months now. Would you like to move in with me?"

"Dont you think it's too soon?" I asked.

"Maybe but I love going to sleep with you and waking up with you." He said.

"Okay. Let's do it!" I exclaimed. I grabbed my laptop out of my bag. "Let's look for a place." I was so excited.
