Frisk startled awake.

Other Sans sighed in relief. "Thank god. I was worried about you for a minute there."

Frisk immediately buried her face in his shirt, trying to hide her face from him. He reacted by flinching back slightly, but he hugged her back. "Nightmare?"

She nodded.

"You wanna talk about it?"

She shook her head.

Other Sans hesitated, but nodded. "Okay."

'Kid, you doin' alright?' Sans asked her. 'You're worryin' me.'

'I'm sorry. I just...' she tried to make up an excuse. 'I don't want to talk about it.'

'But you know I'm here for you and you can tell me anythin', right?'

'I do, but... not this. Please? I just want to forget it, okay?'

Sans was suspicious. Why wouldn't she tell him? This situation, waking up terrified, reminded him of earlier. 'Was it about that other kid?'

Frisk's eyes widened at him and she gripped Other Sans tighter. 'Please don't talk about them! Please don't! Please!'

Sans was even more suspicious now. Still, he answered, 'Alright.'

Frisk relaxed some at that.

Sans however was not relaxed. Why wasn't she talking to him? The child obviously had something to do with it. She was so open to mentioning them last time, and their intentions, but now she wouldn't say anything. It was likely that she had another run in with them in her dream, and they told her not to mention themselves to him. Seeing how Frisk pleaded for him to not talk about them, it was even more likely that they were blackmailing her in some way. But what? What did they want from her? Last time Frisk had said that they showed her them killing everyone in the underground in her body, so it was probably something related to that. Did they want her body? It was definitely possible. And though it was unknown if a human/monster soul could combine with another human soul, the child was probably willing to take the chance, or they already knew that it could be done somehow.

Similar thoughts were going through Other Sans' head. He was worried about the girl. He didn't want anyone to make her do something that she didn't want to.

Before they knew it, the lights came on and footsteps were heard walking from down the hall. Alphys soon came into view with a large paper bag in hand.

"Hello you two," the scientist greeted. "I hope you slept well. I brought breakfast for you, so enjoy. I'll be back for you in a little while." She tossed the bag through the bars and Other Sans caught it before it hit the ground. Then Alphys walked off leaving them alone again.

Other Sans opened the bag to find two containers of cooked instant noodles. "Seriously? This is breakfast?"

Frisk didn't care what it was. She took one of the containers and instantly began to eat. Other Sans watched her with mild curiosity. It was no surprise that she was quick to devour the food no matter what it was; she had barely eaten anything the entire time she was in the underground. He shrugged and began to eat his noodles at a considerably slower pace. Frisk finished her food before he did, unsurprisingly, but once she finished she found that the hunger just grew more. She needed more food in her. The girl hugged her stomach in pain.

Other Sans saw this and stopped eating at the sight. She was so small and thin. He looked at his container and found that he had only eaten a third of it. He looked back over at her.
