"I'm hoooome!!" Niall calls, bursting through my front door. I smile to myself, and get up off the couch to greet him. He's just returned from the grocery store. He wanted to make cookies so I sent him to the store to get some ingredients.
I walk over to him and take the grocery bags from him, and bring them into the kitchen. I walk back out, and see him trying to take his coat off, struggling with the zipper. I roll my eyes. You would think I'm dealing with a toddler.
I smile and walk over to him. "I'll help" I laugh. "Hey! Don't laugh! It's very frustrating not being able to unzip your coat!" he says. I just laugh at him and grab his zipper. I pull down on it, and the coat unzips with ease.
"Haha.... oh.." he says sheepishly, shrugging the jacket off his shoulders. "It's cold outside!! warm me up!!" he exclaims, embracing me in a hug. I wrap my arms around him. He's so adorable and huggable in his big blue sweater!! I think to myself, sighing dreamily.
"What?" Niall asks. Oh shoot! did I just say that out loud. "umm.. I didn't say anything?" I say, trying to cover for myself. "No," he laughs. "You said I was adorable and huggable!"
Dang it! I was caught. "Ok you got me, you're adorable and huggable!" I grin, standing on my toes, to give him a peck on the lips. "Why thank you, I take pride in my huggableness." Niall grins.
"Ok cookies now!!" he declares, detatching himself from me and racing to the kitchen. I walk after him, smiling and shaking my head. If there's one thing I've learned about Niall, it's that he's crazy about food!
I grab one of the grocery bags and open it up, but instead of finding cookie ingredients, I find pre made chocolate chip cookies. "Niall!!" I exclaim turning towards him, only to find him already digging into one of the boxes of cookies.
"I thought we were going to make them not buy them!" I say. "Well, that was the original plan, but it's less work to just buy them!" he explains.
I roll my eyes and laugh. I realize he bought three grocery bags full of them. "Ok, but why do we need so many!" I ask. "Hey! I'm a growing boy with an appetite, it's just common sense to buy this many!" he exclaims, as if it were obvious. "Ok, if you say so!" I laugh, taking a cookie for myself.
"Oh! I almost forgot!" he says, pulling something out of his pocket, and hiding it behind his back. "What?" I ask him. "Well," he says, getting on one knee. "Niall..." I say, starting to get nervous. he's not proposing is he? it's kind of early, I mean, we're only 17!!
"No just let me finish!" he says. "So I realize, I haven't properly asked you this, so, her goes.... Will you be my girlfriend?" He asks, taking a ringpop from behind his back and offering it to me. I sigh in relief.
"Niall! you basically live with me! and a ring pop? really?" I laugh. "Oh come on, ringpops are yummy! Just say yes ok?" he pleads. "Ok, yes, I will be your girlfriend." I say, accepting the ring pop. "YAY!!" he exclaims, jumping up, and giving me a big hug.
"Ok, now that you are officially my girlfriend, I have to take you on a date!" he exclaims excitedly. "Niall, that's really not necessary, I mean, I almost every minute with you. It's just as special when we're here, spending time together, as it is if we go out. And plus, going out means spending money!" I say.
"No! I want to take you out! and plus, I'm in a band now! I have money to spend!! Please!!" he begs. He makes his eyes all big, and sticks out his bottom lip in a pout. Ugh! Not fair! he knows I cant say no to that!
"Fine!" I sigh. "YAY!!" Niall cheers, and grabs me in another hug. "I love you!!" He says. "I love you too." I laugh. He pulls away from me and puts his hands on my shoulders. "We should have the date TODAY!!" he exclaims excitedly.
"Today?" I groan. "Yes!! go get ready! I've been planning this date forever!! Let's do it now!! dress warm because it's cold outside, and meet me back down here in 30 minutes!" he exclaims.
"What? Niall? Today? 30 minutes?" I exclaim. "Yes go!! clock is ticking!" he says, pushing me up the stairs into my room. He shuts the door behind me.
I hate going out in public! But if it makes Niall happy, I guess I will. "The things I do for you Niall." I sigh to myself.
I get dressed in a pair of faded jeans, and a purple sweater. I go into the bathroom, and brush my hair. I brush my teeth, wash my face and put on a little mascara.
I walk back into my room, and sit down on my bed. I'm just now realizing how tired I am. After all, I did stay up with Niall almost all night last night doing........... erm............. things...
well anyways.... I realize how tired I am, and decide I'll lay down for just a little bit. I crawl under the blankets, rest my head on the pillow, and close my eyes. I slowly feel myself drifting off to sleep.

Slowly, my eyelids flutter open. I feel myself under the covers as before, but I feel the warm touch of another body against mine from behind. I smile as I feel his arms wrapped around me.
"You're awake." Niall whispers, kissing my neck. I giggle and turn around, facing him. He holds me to him, one of his hands playing with my hair.
"What time is it?" I ask him. "around 7" he responds, kissing down my jaw. "7?!" I exclaim. "Sorry Niall that's way past 30 minutes!!" I apologize.
"Its ok, I just saw you lying here, and you were just too cute, that I couldnt bring myself to wake you up, so I decided to join you." he explains.
"ok!" I laugh, while he softly kisses my neck. "so what should we do now?" I ask. "We'll go on our date tomorrow... let's just stay here for now." he whispers, pulling me close to his body. "Fine by me." I breathe, resting my head on his chest, perfectly comfortable with this beautiful boy that I love. I smile and think of how lucky I am, just to have him in my life, just to be in his arms. With him, I'm perfectly happy, and I wouln't have it any other way.
