"Hey, it's almost eight." I whispered to Jake as we sat on the couch. "I'm gonna take her home, I'll be back guys." Jake said to his group of friends that sat around us. Everyone calmed down on their laughter and told him okey before saying bye to me. I told everyone bye as I stood up.

"Thank you for having me over." I told the blonde boy in the kitchen, as it was his apartment we were at. "Thank you for coming." He smiled at me. We exchanged a quick hug before I walked out the apartment behind Jake.

"So, how do you like my friends?" Jake asked once we got into his car. "They're fun. I never met anyone like them before." I smiled at him as he smiled at me.

On the drive home, we talked about today and laughed at it, saying the memories that were just made a few hours ago.

The ride home seemed faster than it actually was. "So when we hang out again?" Jake asked as pulled up to my white house.

"Whenever your free." Our smiles never left our faces. "Bye Blu."

"Bye Jake."

I got out the car and ran to the house, but not to fast. I was happy with how today played out, and happy that I got to hang out with Jake.

I don't know if it's just me having a habit of falling in love to easily but he had me feeling a way I never felt before today.

"Blu is that you?" My mom called from the kitchen. "Yes it is and I'm sorry I didn't text you all day." I said while locking the door and walking towards my mother, who was sitting at the kitchen table. "I wasn't worried, baby."

"Now sit and tell me what happened today." My mother's smile was always warming and bright, even in this dim light from the kitchen stove. "Well." I dragged out the word as I sat in front of my mom.

"He told me, he wanted me to get to know something about him and to learn something about me every time we hang out. So today we both did something we really loved." I bit my lip, thinking of what happened today.

"Did you take him?" My mom asked, I already knew where she was talking about.

"Yeah, I did. I pointed out all our favorite stars to him too. He took me to this river spot I never knew we had in California. It was a little out of LA but he said he goes there when he's too stressed to think. He was telling me he loves going at night and watching the stars and the sun rise. When he said the stars, I had to bring him to our spot, mom it was just so wonderful. After we left our spot, since it was already 3, we went to taco bell cause he said it was his favorite spot to eat. Then we went to his friends house and I met all his friends. They're like one huge family, mom. You can feel the love between of all them. Oh my god and they are just so funny!" I rambled on as my mother just watched me, a smile on her face as she was happy that I was finally happy.

"I'm gonna go to bed sweetie." My mom got up after we were done with our talk, kissed my head and walked to her room. I set my cup in the sink and went to my bathroom. I did my night routine and took out my contacts, changed into pajamas and went straight to bed.
