"Have you heard anything from him yet?" My mom asked as I finally left my room. It's been almost 2 weeks since Jake disappeared on me, I started to give up. "No mom, you ask every day and the answer is still no." I said clearly annoyed.

"Well sorry for caring. No one wants to be with a sick girl and you know it." I slammed my bowl down and looked at her. "I'm not sick. The doctors tell us every time we go for my check up that I'm healthy." I was more pissed now. "I'm sorry, sweetie. I didn't mean to say that, of course your healthy. Why don't we go to the laundry matt and wash your clothes. You been in dirty clothes for these past weeks."

"Why can't you just get the washer and dryer fixed?" I walked away, not wanting her to actually answer that. Our dryer and washer broke 2 weeks after my dad left and my mom hasn't fixed it yet. I scrambled all my dirty clothes off the floor and threw them into the hamper. I took a quick shower, finally putting on a new pair of clothes.

I slipped on my shoes and grabbed my hamper, making my way downstairs. "Ready?" My mom asked, I just nodded my head as I didn't want to talk to her. And I didn't, not until we were at the laundry matt and I was dying of sweat.

I looked looked around as my mom left me by myself twenty minutes ago to get food. My eyes were caught by a black beanie.

"Colby." I called in that direction, getting his attention immediately. "Blu, hey!" He stood up from his seat and walked towards me, giving me a quick hug. "How are you?"

"No." I stopped him from trying to make small talk. "Why is Jake avoiding me?" He loudly sighed. "Blu, I don't know where he is. He went M-I-A on all of us like 2 weeks ago. We all thought you knew or had something to do with it." Colby told me truthfully. I shook my head.

"We were at my doctors appointment and I had to go get a blood test, he wanted to come with me but I told him no. When I was done, my mom said he got a call and left." He loudly sighed again, not saying anything though. "Do you know where he is?" Colby shook his head.

"I got to go Blu." Colby quickly went back to his seat, shoving the clothes off the table and into his hamper before quickly rushing out the door.

Did I do something?
