It's been a week since I hung out with Jake, we haven't even talked since. My little crush disappeared as I was actually kinda upset. I thought it went so perfect, maybe it didn't.

It was currently almost 9 right now, and I was snuggled up with Sally in bed, reading a book.

The phone to ring and I let it until my mom yelled at me to pick it up so my dad can get some sleep before his flight. He has to leave for a while as his business is taking off.

"Hello?" I answered as I sat my book on the night stand. "What are you doing right now?" A male voice asked. "Who is this?"

"It's Jake. Now, what are you doing?" He asked again. I got annoyed right away. He ignores me for a week, than randomly calls me and asked what I'm doing? Who does he think he is?

"Hello?" He asked, I didn't even realize I was silent. "Going to bed, that's what I'm doing." I rolled my eyes at him, even though he couldn't see it. "Can I pick you up?" I bit my lip. I want to jump up and change and tell him yes but I didn't want him think he could do this to me all the time.

I chose the stupid answer.

"Yes." I got up and slipped on a pair of leggings, not caring about the big t-shirt I was wearing. I set the phone down as I head it on speaker, neither of us were talking though.

I looked myself in the mirror, seeing how rough I was. I fixed my hair and didn't bother putting my contacts in, my hair was the main reason for me looking so bad.

"Are you ready yet?" Jake asked, scaring me a little as I forgot he was on the phone. "Yeah, just give me a second." I pushed my glasses up and slipped on a pair of converses.

I went down to the kitchen, where I knew my mother was making herself her daily cup of tea. "Um, Jake wants to pick me up.. is that okey?" I asked nervously, I never left at night. "Just be back before your dad gets up so we can take him to his flight."

I smiled and nodded, quickly but quietly running back to my room, "Hello." I grabbed the phone. "I'm outside." I nodded in response, I knew he couldn't see it but he knew I was doing it. I tossed the phone onto my bed and ran back to my mom, giving her a kiss on the cheek before running out the side door and out to Jake's car.

"Where we going?" I asked as I buckled myself in. "Are you hungry?" He ignored my question. "I want taco bell." I laughed at him and nodded. "Let's get taco bell than." He smiled at me and nodded.

I ordered something I never got as Jake ordered the same thing as last time.

I was laughing as we sat in the parking lot of taco bell, eating our food. "Stop." I laughed even more. "It wasn't funny, it actually hurt." Jake tried to defend himself as he wanted us to tell each other stories. "How do you fall out of a shopping cart?" I laughed even more as he was telling me a stories about him and his brother.

"I told you he pushed the cart." He smiled as he took a sip of his soda. "But you were sitting down." I kept laughing, I couldn't help it. "Okey enough of me, tell me a story about you now." I adjusted myself so I was facing him. "Hm, none of my stories could beat yours." I teased as he rolled his eyes.

"Um...okey, I got it. One time, when I was at the doctors, I was 6 by the way so don't judge me, the doctor told me to breath in cause he was checking my heartbeat and when I breathed out, I accidentally farted."

Jake started to laugh, I hid my face as it started to heat up in embarrassment. "Stop!" I dragged out the word as he continued to laugh. "I was 6!" I defended myself as I laughed a little with him. "I-" Jake tried to speak but just continued to laugh, I smiled at him once he calmed down, he stared at me smiling too, slowly leaned in.
