I woke up the next morning, feel happy as could be. I grabbed the phone and set it on the charger as it died while I was asleep.

I got out of bed, a huge smile painted on my face and grabbed a fresh pair of clothes.

Today Jake and I agreed to hang out. I quickly went to my bathroom and took a shower. I didn't take long as I was too excited. I got out, dried myself off and got dressed.

Today I was wearing a short, dress with blue and white strips. I cuffed the little sleeves and looked myself in the mirror.

I tried putting on some makeup but it wasn't working out so I washed it off. I did something with my hair though, I braided a loose braid and had it pull into a messy bun at the end.

I skipped downstairs to eat breakfast. My dad was making chocolate chip psncakes, sausage, bacon, eggs, and cut up fruit, like we have every Saturday morning.

"Well you look beautiful." My mother said before taking a sip of her tea. I thanked my dad as he set a plate in front of me full of food. "Thank you, I'm going to hang out with a friend today." I picked up my fork and filled it with eggs as my dad practically choked on his coffee.

"Who is this friend you speak of." My mother asked as she set down her fork. "His name is Jake." A smile crept on my face as I said his name. "And how come we never heard if this Jake guy before." My dad chipped in.

"Because I met him yesterday on my way to the bathroom." They looked at each other before looking back at me. "No." My dad said. "No?"

He nodded his head. "But- please? I don't do anything besides hangout with you guys. I need friends around my age. I know both your numbers, and I'll let you know where I am at all times. I can text you from his phone." I begged as I looked at them. "Let her James." My mom said as she looked at my dad.

He rolled his eyes as he hated it when my mom was on my side; cause he knew she wouldn't give up. "I want you home by 8." He sipped on his coffee as I nodded and quickly ate my plate of food.

"Bye guys. I love you." I yelled parents as I was walked out the door and out to Jake's car, the exact car he told me he would pick me up in. "You look beautiful." He said immediately as I sat in the passenger seat. I looked away, trying to grab my seat belt so he wouldn't see that I was blushing.

"So what are we doing today?" Once I looked up, we were already at the end of the street. He looked at me and smiled. "You'll see." He winked as his smile beautiful; his teeth set nicely in between his lips, his brown eyes completed his black beanie, and he just looked so beautiful within that moment, I could live it forever.

"I just have to be home by 8." I smiled as it was almost 12.
