"Hey, what time is it?" I asked my mom as I walked down stairs. Jake dropped me off this morning and I took a shower before taking a nap. "Six, you going somewhere with Jake?" My mom paused her show as she looked at me. "It's his birthday so yeah." She slowly nodded her head.

I started to walk back upstairs as my mom called my name. "Blu, can you come back down here." I turned back around and walked down, she patted a seat next to her for me to take, as I did. "I- have something to tell you." She said like she was nervous. "Oh?"

She sighed before looking at me. "I'm going to go visit your father for a week or two, and I wasn't sure if you would want to come with me or not so I didn't get you a ticket."

"When are you leaving?" She gave me a look as I asked my question. "Tomorrow. I am, and you cannot fight with me about this, giving you a phone because you're never home anymore and I need a way to contact you." I nodded before standing up. "Are we done?" I said with attitude. She nodded and I quickly went back to my room.

I wasn't mad about the phone, I'm barely going to use it, I'm mad that she decided to go to the opposite side of the world and just leave me here.

I went to the bathroom and put on makeup. I didn't do light look like I always do but I actually tried with my look. Once I was in done, I took my hair out of the loose ponytail it was in and went to my room to change. I slipped on a pair of ripped mom jeans and slipped into a stripped, cropped tank top.

I looked at my outfit before slipping on my black sandals. I grabbed Jake's hoodie of my bed before back downstairs. "Well don't you look beautiful." Jake said from the dining room. "I thought you weren't going to be here for 20 more minutes?" He shrugged his shoulders before giving me a kiss on my cheek. "Are you ready?" I nodded.

"Bye Bethany." Jake said to my mom. "Bye, Jake. Bye sweetie." I stared at her before me and Jake walked to the door to leave. "Bye."

"You did not." Katrina said like she was disgusted by Jake. Him and I went out to dinner with all of his friends I met over these past 8 months. Jake laughed as he just nodded his head. I didn't know what they were talking about as I was having my own conversation with Corey.

"So, Blu. How were you these past 3 weeks?" Katrina asked me, causing me to shift in discomfort. "Kat." Jake and Sam quickly said. "What? I'm just asking a question." Jake wrapped his arm around my lower waist, trying to pull me closer to him in the booth but I didn't move.

As I was going to say something as Katrina wouldn't stop staring at me, our food came out saving me from having to speak.

I didn't say anything but little things here and there to Jake for the rest of the dinner as he spent most of the time talking to Sam and Katrina. I was either staring at my plate of food or talking to Corey and Xepher. "I don't think she likes me." I whispered to Corey. "I'm sure she does." He whispered back as he looked at Katrina. "If not, than just ignore her. It's not that hard." I sighed and nodded as I listened to Corey.

"Blu." Jake whispered, taking my attention away from Corey to him. "Are you okey?" He asked as he looked at me concerned. "Why would you ask me that?" He looked at my plate of food than looked back at me. "Cause you would of been the first to finish but you barely touched your food." Jake wrapped his arm back around my lower waist. "Just not hungry, I'll take it to go."

He nodded and kissed the tip of my head. "Are you coming home with me?" I sighed and shook my head no. He immediately looked confused. "My mom's leaving tomorrow, I'm going to be with her tonight before she goes." I used my mom as an excuse. Truth is, I didn't want to go home with him.

Tonight, just felt off....
