It's been a week since Colby ran out on me at the laundry matt, and I haven't left my house since.
It was currently 11:59 at night and I was staring at myself in the mirror. I was trying to figure out what was wrong with me that made Jake just disappear on me like that. I been crying all day so I didn't bother to wipe the tears that were falling.
I sighed roughly and grabbed the pair of scissors that were sitting in the counter. I grabbed my hair on one side of my head, and just cut it. It was a big chop but I could care less right now. I did the same thing to the other side, but it was uneven. One side sat on my shoulders and the other was 2 inches past my shoulders. I rolled my eyes at how uneven it was and just dropped the scissors back into the sink. I shut the bathroom light off and went straight to bed, ignoring the mess I just made.
I woke up to my mom roughly shaking me. "Blu, get up. What did you do?" She grabbed my hair as I just looked at her. "Blu.."
"Leave me alone. It's my hair." I pushed her hand away but she didn't go away. "Go to the bathroom Blu, I'm fixing this." She sighed as I groaned. I dragged myself to sit up and to the bathroom. I sat on the toilet as I stepped on the hair I chopped off last night. "You didn't even clean it up, Blu. This is disgusting." I rolled my eyes. "Just fix my hair already."
I watched as new hair fell onto the floor. I sighed once more until my mom said she was done. I looked in the mirror to see my hair was above my shoulders. "Should of done a Britney and shaved it." I mumbled as I scrubbed my hair. "Colby's here for you." She said before walking away. I sighed again and pulled on a pair of shorts before going downstairs.
"Hey." Colby said lightly as he seen me standing on the last step. "Hi.""Get ready, we're going out." Colby said as he sat up straight. I looked at my mom as she just walked away from us. I groaned again and walked up upstairs.
I slipped on a cream, short dress as I really didn't feel like wearing pants today. I put on little mascara, I wasn't in the mood to put makeup on either. I slipped into my flip-flops and walked backstairs. "Let's go." I said annoyed. "Have fun!" My mom called out to us before closing the door behind Colby.
I walked out to his red car, getting into the passenger seat as he got into the drivers. "Where are we going?" I crossed my arms as I didn't want to go out, but I haven't left the house since the laundry matt. "You'll see." Colby said with a smile but didn't look at me.
I looked out the window, watching the cars pass us and us passing them until Colby pulling into a parking spot. I looked forward to see a couple of little and high hills and trees. "Where-" I started to ask but stopped as Colby just got out the car. I quickly unbuckled myself and ran after him. "Colby! Colby!" I yelled but he just kept walking.
I followed him up the hill, still yelling his name until he came to a complete stop. "Colby, what the hell are we doing-- here." I looked at Colby than followed where he was looking and my eyes couldn't believe who I saw.
