Sarah and Amelia arrive at home, where Amelia goes straight to her room. Sarah goes to the kitchen and starts dinner, as Zach walks in the house.
"Ah, son of mine. Sit. I need to talk to you. Please." Sarah motions to the counter as she cooks. Zach goes and sits on the counter.
"What's up?" he asks as he grabs an apple. She turns and looks at him.
"It's about Amelia. Her biological brother contacted me today to meet. Has she ever said anything to you about the nature of the relationship with Dylan?" Sarah looks at him as she lowers the temperature on the stove.
"No, not really. She doesn't like to talk about all that. I mainly just check in and see how she's doing mentally. Why? What did her douchebag brother say?" Zach replies as he takes a bite of the apple.
"Um, well, Amelia has a son. He's about a year old. He looks just like her. I just don't know why she'd keep this from us." Sarah sighs as she continues cooking dinner.
"Maybe she's scared. I mean, she was 15 and had a baby, unwilling from her brothers best friend. Who would want to talk about that? She's been through so much that I don't think she knows how to talk about it. Have you and dad thought about getting her into therapy? It could help her, even in the slightest." Zach remarks as he finishes the apple.

Amelia looks around her room, staring at her phone then at her laptop and thinks to herself: Should I text him or not? I don't wanna bother him if he's working.
Alex gets off work, closing up the shop and drives home. Once he gets home, he makes dinner, eats, does the dishes, then takes a shower and sits on the couch in the living room, putting on a movie.
Amelia stares at her phone, opening her messages and clicks on Alex's name.
Am: Hey😝 Sorry, if your busy. You don't have to respond. Um, I don't even know why I'm texting 🙈
Alex pauses the movie, checking his phone and smiles to himself as he texts back
Al: Hey😋 I'm not busy, just hanging out at home watching a movie. You can always text me even if I am busy I will always respond when I can.
Am: What movie?
Al: Um Baywatch😂
Am: Oooh. New or old?
Al: New. What's the princess up to?
Am: Um, sitting in my room, thinking.
Al: Oh? Thinking about?
Am: Um, a few things.. Like.. um.. my biological family..
Al: Oh, I see.. anything you wanna talk about?
Am: Um, I might have left out a small detail.. when we talked earlier..
Al: You only have to tell me what your comfortable with Amelia. I told you that..
Am: I know, but I want to tell you this. It's something most people don't know. My new family doesn't even know...
Al: okay, i'm listening. well, reading 😂
Am: funny. okay, so.. i.. have a son.. but he doesn't live with me. He lives with my birth family.
Al: Oh, i'm so sorry that he doesn't live with you.
Am: Its my fault. I kind of went crazy after he was born.. so they took him from me and deemed me mentally unstable..
Al: Oh, I'm so sorry princess...
Am: it's ok.. but your the first person i've told.. so that means a lot to me.
Al: thank you, for trusting me with all this. now, shouldn't you get some sleep? school and such?
Am: maybe🙈 tomorrow is just me registering for classes and such.. not even a full day of school for me 😂 but if your sleepy.. i can leave you alone
Al: i never said i was sleepy. just worried about you and school 😋
Am: haven't even had dinner yet. 🙈🤭
Al: please go eat.
Am: i will. i don't cook so i gotta wait 😂
Al: maybe i could teach you how to cook? if you want.. sorry. ignore me. 🤦🏼♂️
Am: no, i actually like that idea.. 🙈
Al: only if it's ok with your parents.
Am: they're pretty chill but i can ask. when?
Al: um, well, i can't really do weekends..
Am: that's fine. just let me know when you can? i'm usually free because uh i don't have friends 😂
Al: you'll make friends. and once you do you won't need me. i'll just be your tattoo artist 😝
Am: nah. don't get ahead of yourself. i don't make friends easily. i keep to myself a lot. hard to let people in 🤷🏼♀️
Al: i get it. believe me. come by the shop whenever you want then. i'm always there 😋
Am: good to know🙈 ok, gonna go be social with the fam. um i'll talk to you later 😝
Amelia puts her phone down and goes out to the kitchen, where Sarah and Zach are plating the food and setting the table. Amelia sits at the table along with Zach, Sarah, and Robert.
After dinner, Amelia and Zach do the dishes and go back to their rooms. Amelia gets in the shower and Zach plays video games. After her shower, Amelia puts in pajamas and puts Netflix on her laptop, laying down.
