Chapter 13 : Still Stuck !

"Are you sure  about this ?" Caitlin.was still not sure whether it was a good idea or not ..  but barry was adamant "I am sure , you are ready and you're in full control " Barry encouraged her , he had full confidence in her even if she was a little skeptical about it ..

"Why don't I sit this one out ?" She said as barry and ralph prepare to go out to hunt a meta down at the mets lab.

"Come on caitlin , you've been training for so long , and you've never lost control , you can do this " Iris patted her shoulder giving her a nudge , she gave her that jacket , and everyone in the lab looked at her waiting for her to put it on and be ready to go ..

She was nervous , but the confidence that everyone had on her kept her going uptill now and it's the only thing that will keep her going ..

She nodded and with a long breath she put on the jacket , frost style  and her hair turn white on her command .. "where's the rest of the party ?" She smirked , barry sneered listening to her ..

"It's funny , how savage you can be " he said almost chuckling at her , and frost was not offended , for the first time ever frost was not offended by the Flash ..

"Yeah yeah , let's go " she shrugged it off , not thinking it's important , and in her defense it really wasn't ...

"Can I come too ?" Ella asked grabbing her suit and chamging into it in a bere minute..

"We're already too many people going , why don't you stay and help iris and joe ?" Cisco showed her death glares , ever since the necklace came back on her neck , she's been training like crazy like she had gotten a injury free pass or whatever.  And cisco was worried about her , she was just a kid , she shouldn't be straining herself like that ...

Barry , Caitlin , iris and ralph look at each other and shrug , Cisco's parent mode was on so badly on this kid ...

"Yeah , ella , we'll have some fun here , they're  not even going for a fight or anything , just research " Iris gave her a high five which Ella politely but disappointingly returned back ..

"Allright , be carefull you guys " all of them bid goodbyes as they  took off to the lab. ..

"So this research , what is it about ?" Ella asked iris and joe ..

"Well , there's this new meta , you know about him  , right ? " joe said to her

"The one with the heavy radiations that Attacked Mercury labs last tuesday ?  " she asked back to him ..

"Yes him , I asked around and found out that there have been few other breakins at other labs and small but outdated techs  have been stolen .. " Iris took.out her tablet to show her the reports

"Cisco and barry , brainstorm the ideas , and we think that he's trying to build a container for his energy , and the next thing he needs is in Mets. LAB. " Iris shows her the tech that can contain the energy coming out of him safely into a pocket container..

"So he's not a bad guy , that's why he's trying to get rid of these powers ?like josh ?  Right" Ella asked the twi to be with her on this , but they were very careful about this , because they've had people in the past they've trysted and they were betrayed ..

"Either that or he's planning something we can't even imagine " a familiar voice called out from behind them ..

"Harry " iris turned and there he was standing with his black hat onn .. iria ran to him and hugged him " what a surprise" sge said happily seeing him ..

Joe also went to him to welcom him .. "jessie is busy is some new league venture so I was free , so I came here meet you guys " harry said smiling ..

"That's wonderfull , the team will be thrilled to see you " iris came back to the monitors to see if the team was okay ..

Harry's eyes set on the young girl that stood in the cortex , a little scared or nervous , Ella could only imagine the face of That Yellow and Red manic who trapped her here ..

Even though she knew harry , she knew he was not thawne , but that face , it cannot be avoided ..

"Who is that ? " he asked with a very harrison wells like smile ..

"Oh yes , you haven't met , this is Ella .. she's been training with us , she's a speedster " Iris introduced Ella to harry ..

"A speedster !" He repeated more in a surprise than.a question .. and Ella had a crazy tgought in her mind ..

What she remembered about her uncle harry is the fact that he throws things when he's angry and that he's very very smart ..

The way harry looked at Ella was very suspicious , and the way Ella lookes at harry wasn't normal too .. harry despite the thoughts running in his head extended is hand to Ella .. which made Ella step back a little like she was scared , but why was she scared , this was not thawne , this was harry , even though she knew it , the kid in her still feared him ..

"Are you okay?" He asked almost taking his hend back  , but before he could , she came out of her thoughts , and smiled taking his hand "nothing , I've heard great things about you " she said covering up or rather trying to cover up her behaviour ..

"So you're a speedster ! How did you get your powers ?" ,harry asked , harry being harry , he started his investigation , which had Ella a little taken back , because it has been so long she almost forget what story she told everyone eles , and one mistake in her story could give him a big clue to sho she is ..

But it was Ella's day because suddenly the alarm.went off in the lab , and chaos broke through as the only things that could be heard through the coms , was barry asking for help ....

"Barry's vitals dropping fast "

Hey guys ! I know it's a very short chapter , but don't worry the other one is dropping in a few hpurs after this .. I'm updating this because I wanted to update something on my Birthdaay .. and because of all the celebrations and stuff , I couldn't finish it in time .. 😅 though I know I've taken too  much time to update .. and I'll discuss why in the next chapter !
