Chapter 15: Reasons !

Were there even words to explain how she was feeling in that moment , when she was walking down the corridors , just with spiraling thoughts , what did just happened with her ? This was supposed to be a normal boring day at work , catching a bad guy , patching up light wounds , watching ella train a little may be , nut not more than that , but it seemed like nothing would ever be normal after this day ...

She entered the bunker with her fiddled mind , she knew what she had to do , she knew she had to do it , she wouldn't be at peace if she didn't ..

She entered the bunker , hoping the only person there would be the one who she wanted to talk to and nobody eles ! And man if she wished for something els right now she would've gotten it !

The only person standing in the room had their back facing caitlin , as she entered , she clasped her hands together a few times , may be trying to convince her self to not talk .. but a second later she spoke .. "Hey "

Her voice was soft but the guilt in it coyld be felt from a mile away .. and specially if it was directed to The person standing infront of her .. "Hi, how are you feeling ?" Iris turned around with a soft smile , encouraging caitlin to talk to her..

Caitlin was rather startle at this , she wasn't expecting anyone asking her this .. but she could point out alot of things she was feeling , for starters , she was guilty for sucking face with her fiance , she was scared to what iris might react to that , she was so confused about the whole thing actually .. but this didn't really felt like the way to answer the question so she went with her first instinct which was  "Me?" With a hint if surprise she asked ..

Iris could feel her brain chuckling a little , because caitlin took a good minute to answer that question with a question .. but she managed to contain it "You absorbed all that energy , must be exhausting !?" She asled her elaborating the reason for her question ..

Caitlin was still at the surprised feeling , she never thought of it that way , she thought may be she was so busy feeling all these crazy things that she actually forgot that she was indeed exhausted with all that radiation .. and she was pretty sure she wouldn't l let it be a big deal now too ... so she came up with the obvious answer "Yeah ! I'm okay , thanx"

Iris could see how drained she was , but she supported her answer "Good " she said , she wanted to say more , but she didn't ..

Iris turned back to her purse , she was looking for something inside may be , caitlin stood there for exactly 20 sec and then took a step forward "Iris , I , I wanted to talk to you " she said with her heart on her sleeve ..

Iris sighed.  She was almost hoping that the conversation wouldn't go there , but  it was inevitable .. she wasn't gonna make this hard for anyone .. she turned to her "I know Caitlin " she sighed again ..

Caitlin knew , that she wasn't the only one who was thinking about this incident .. and how could she be ... "You do"

Iris , wabted to hide it long , but what was the point anyway , hiding it wont make things better.  "You're a good person caitlin , you're not going to kiss someone's fiance and let it be slide " iris said crossing her arms ..

Caitlin felt that sharp tinge in her heart and she rushed towards her "Iris I wanted to apologize to you first , I'm so sorry ,  it must have been hard for you " she stopped 6 steps aways from iris realizing that she must not be the person iris wants near right now !

Iris loosed her arms straight.  "I wouldn't lie  to You caitlin , it was " iris said to her , and instantly caitlin lowered her head "But I don't have a right I guess " Iris continued and caitlin's head shot up ..

Obviously iris wasn't making any sense whatsoever "What do you mean?" Caitlin asked her

"i mean , Me and barry , we're not together anymore " iris said to her ..
