The plane was chaotic everyone was freaking out and saying that they were going to die. Owen and I were just standing there thinking about what to do with the guy. "I'm gonna bring Amelia here okay?" I told him. He nodded at me, a vein was popping out of his forehead.

"Owen go help other people you can help, I'll take care of this guy it would be a neuro case anyway," Amelia told Owen. "I'm available to help anyone who needs I'm Dr.Hunt!" Owen announced and he left. " Do you have a plan?" I asked Amelia. "No but I will think of one," she stated firmly.

"After weighing the pros and cons I think we need to just pull it out," Amelia reassessed. I grabbed some gloves the flight attendant had given us and got Owen. Charles could handle whoever else who had superficial injuries. We snapped them on and cleared the area of people. We gripped firmly on the rod. "On three, One, Two, Three!" We yanked it out, while being careful to keep it leveled.

Blood spilled everywhere. We need some sort of tamponade, a balloon would be really useful right now. We found a syringe and Amelia started to try and remove the blood inside. The rod had narrowly missed his brain stem he might still be able to walk.

We packed the area with a lot of gauze. More than you think a plane would have. We had a quick gathering of the doctors. "We need to land now!" Amelia said. "I'll try to get the pilot to land." replied Sean. "Oh yeah it's time we have a proper introduction," recalled Owen. "I'm Dr. Rigoroti, oncology," he said. "Nice to meet you, but we should probably get moving." rushed Amelia.

I went with Owen to the flight attendant trying to convince them to let us talk to the flight attendant. " Can we speak to the Pilot or Co Pilot now," Owen demanded. The flight attended looked skeptical,"sir you can not they are trying to fly this plane.""Well we need to land now or this man will die!" "We need to be in an authorized place to land."

"Owen, you have to wait they need to do their job too." I reminded him. I sighed, why am I sometimes the level headed mediator? I walked back to see what Amelia was up to. The guy looked stable... for now. " We are now landing in Dallas everyone please buckle their seat belts" the flight attendant announced.

I buckled up and braced for a rough landing. Once we were on the ground there were paramedics waiting for the injured. Amelia gave them the stats for the guy with the major head trauma and Owen was directing people into right place. When they were all finished they wrapped me up in a huge hug. The adrenaline was slowing down and we were all exhausted. This has been a long day. Maybe Texas is fun.
