Chapter 11: A Touch of Craziness, The Demigod's Life Through and Through

They found the Minotaur horn, dried blood on the tip and encased with wet grass and caked with mud on the top of the hill next to Thalia's tree. They couldn't find much else besides some loose metal pieces from the car, hoove and foot prints everywhere and some trash.

After they found and pocketed the chipped horn, Raven and Grover picked up and properly dispensed the trash into bins and made their way back into the border and to the Big House.

Raven handed over the horn for Grover to clean up and set in the shoe box he kept for safe keeping. And went back into the infirmary to check on the boy who at the moment was under the care of Annabeth. As she opened the door she caught the end of Annie shoving ambrosia into his mouth and him passing out again.

The teen rose an eyebrow. "Trying to get as much information as you can I see. Though it won't help any shoving food down his throat like that." Raven observed and sat next to the sheepish blonde.

Raven laughed gently at her friend and got up, "I think they are planning on moving him outside, the cabinets and supplies need to be restocked and we won't want to disturb him." She told the daughter of Athena and left the room passing by Argus.

Luke stood out in the middle of the woods, fist curling and uncurling. His head throbbed in agony. The nightmares and pains weren't receding very well. And he still had to suffer the rest of this summer. Full of idiots and the blind. He internally seethed. Hatred pouring from him at the thought of the Gods, of the mistreatment they- Demigods endure so the Gods can be the way they are. Fools in thrones and with weapons of mass destruction and control.

His stomach clenched, he turned a pale green and felt so sick as he spotted Raven walk out of the big house, a gentle smile on her face as she walked around and talked to satyrs and campers. Her leather jacket hugged her form as her camp shirt made bright contrast.

Her ripped up black jeans obviously more from worn and wear and tare then a fashion statement like those in Aphrodite cabin. Her long black hair pulled back in a ponytail as her blue eyes glimmered almost electrically- or no...a blue flame quality to it. She was beautiful. Easily rivaling goddesses no doubt.

And it sickened Luke endlessly. It felt like being a punishment worthy of the Fields in Hades just being around her. Seeing her, forced to deal with her. She looked so much like Thalia. She acted and her interests were too similar. And he found himself hating those things about her. But more so hated the differences.

She wasn't her. Raven was never going to be Thalia. Never going to live up to the light of his first and only love. And it made him sick he had to share his cabin with her- sickened him further of what the Crooked One ordered him to do. The last thing he ever would want to do.

He took a breath, steeling his nerves. His dragon scar giving his furious look a sinister- evil quality. Before a nice handsome and kind face settled over that. And he left the forests...

Dionysus was annoyed. Very very annoyed. Close to angry in fact.
