Flashback

After my check up, dad and I decided to have our bonding time since he'll fly to Canada this monday for work.

We decided to do our usual bonding we do when we are in london, we went to Borough Market. We ate our all time favorite, the Boston Sausage, Boston burgers and Pastel de Nata. It was really great having this kind of bonding with my daddy since he was really busy running a multi-billion dollar company.

We stumbled into the very famous coffee shop in Borough market, the Monmouth coffee shop. Dad and I decided to have a macchiato.

We walked around the busy street of London with dad's bodyguards lurking behind us.

"Your uncle said that you're making friends with Mr. Kim's daughter, I thought you'll stay away from her?" Dad asked me after sipping his macchiato

"She's nice, daddy. She's not bad as what we thought she is." I smiled while remembering how good Jennie is to me

Jennie and I have a strong connection that I can't explain but there is something that I'm sure of.. that I like her not just a friend but more than that.

"Did you know that her parents works for us?"

I looked at him "Us? There are just working for you daddy."

He chuckled "You're a Manoban, princess. Whether they like it or not they will treat you just like how they treat me and I'm expecting them to respect you more than they respect me."

I sighed. I know that he is expecting so much from me and I'm afraid that I can't level his expectations.

"Daddy... what if I'm not great as you? What if I fail you?"

"I know you won't. Don't ever think that I am better than you. You are better than me, princess. You already proved yourself to me, you surpassed all my expectations from you."

I smiled. Daddy really knows how to make me feel better.

"Daddy.. can I like someone?"

He looked at me with a lopsided smile "You like someone?"

I glared at him "Don't give me that smile, daddy."

He chuckled "Okay, sorry. So.. who is the lucky guy?"

I shook my head and didn't answer him.

"So, it's a girl? Am I right?"

I bowed my head and nodded. I'm afraid to see his reaction.

"Is it Jennie?"

"Yes.. wait! How did you know?"

"You are so obvious, young Manoban. I saw how you smiled when you said her name."

"Aren't you mad, daddy?"
