Chapter Twenty-two: Park

JENNIE'S POV

"Spill it, guys." Lisa rolled her eyes on these two ladies sitting in front of us, nudging each other to speak up

It's Lisa's first time to go out after she has been discharged from the hospital and I can see that she's enjoying every moment of it. She asked Chae to take several pictures of us, she said that we looked like a newlywed. I don't want to be a killjoy but thinking about a wedding makes my stomach twist, it reminds me of Jungkook and the engagement. I hope Lisa will find a way to escape the mess my parents made.

"If you two didn't stop nudging each other, I swear!" I said getting impatient

Lisa insisted we have coffee in her favorite coffee shop here in London. Though she's not allowed to take anything with caffeine yet, she still insisted we try their macchiato. Since there are just four-seaters at every table, Tao, V, and Nancy decided to sit at the table next to ours.

"I.. we.. Jisoo is my girlfriend now." Rose blurted out

I almost spit out the coffee I was drinking "You're what?" I asked in wide eyes

Lisa chuckled while patting my back "I knew it."

"You do?" Jisoo and Rose asked in unison

Lisa nodded "Yup. Body language says it all. I wonder why this beautiful lady beside me didn't notice that."

"Since when? I mean.. Rose? You're gay? I'm mean.. oh my god."

I don't know what to say! Rose is my childhood best friend. We've known each other from grade school to senior high school and yet I didn't know her preference. Unlike me, she's aware that I'm having girl celebrity crushes but her? All I know is that she's only interested in boys and it shook the hell out of me when she dropped the news. Well, I can't blame her, Jisoo is a perfect catch but not as perfect as the girl beside me.

"I don't know if I should be insulted by your reaction." Jisoo pouted

"No, no, no. Don't be. I'm just surprised! Rose is like a sister to me, I never imagined that she'll do girls but I'm happy for the both of you." I reached for Jisoo's hand over the table "You hurt my best friend, you messed with the wrong person." I warned her

"Hey! No need my boo-boo." Rose frowned at me

I laughed when I saw Jisoo tensed up "I'm just kidding. I know she won't hurt you." I looked at my girlfriend "Right, Lili?"

She nodded "Yup." She shortly answered, "Have you inform the boys about this?" She said looking at the boys having a conversation with Nancy

Then I saw something that caught my attention. Tao blushed while looking at Nancy while she's telling something. It looks like Tao found his match.

"Yes. We told them last week." Jisoo answered

After having more little chitchat at the coffee shop, we decided to take Lisa to the park where she can relax. I insisted to push her wheelchair, I'm still kinda jealous of Nancy.

"Can we go to the fountain, Nini?"

"Of course."

Jisoo and Rose decided to play with the kids in the playground while the three went to the ice cream vendor to buy their ice cream.

"Aren't you tired, Nini? You've been pushing me for three hours."

We stopped in front of the old fountain, I sat on the edge of it in front of Lisa.

"Why would I get tired? You're my strength." I winked at her

She laughed "You're so in love with me, I see."

I fetched a small towel from my bag. I wiped Lisa's sweat on her forehead "We should go home after they enjoyed here, it's getting hotter outside plus I know you're tired too."

"My girlfriend is so sweet." She cooed "Can I get a kiss?" She pouted

I kissed her quickly "Good?"

She shook her head, still pouting "Longer."

I leaned again and kissed her. When I was about to pull away, her lips moved, she bites my bottom lip. We started to kiss in sync. I will never get tired of kissing her luscious lips.

"Ehem!" Someone faked a cough

Lisa was the one who pulled away. She glared at Rose.

"I know you're a new couple but can you stop kissing for a while? We're in public." She said crossing her arm above her chest

"I'm just maximizing my time with my girlfriend." Lisa reasoned out

"Maximizing, huh? I thought I heard a moan last night." Jisoo said wiggling her eyebrows

I blushed. I think that was me "How? I mean when.. oh my god."

Rose and Jisoo looked at each other in wide eyes.

"I'm just kidding! Oh my! So.. you two really did something last night?!" Jisoo exclaimed

"Is it rough? I thought Lisa is not yet.."

"Aish! Stop it! You're making my Lili blush." I said while looking at Lisa who's the face turned into crimson red

"Answer our question first!" Rose pushed the topic

"No." Lisa said, "Stop it." Throwing daggers at the two

"What's up?" V placed his arm around Jisoo's shoulder "Aren't you done teasing them?"

Nancy looked at her wristwatch "I think we should go home now. Lisa needs to have a proper rest."

We all agreed. Tao called the driver to fetched us from the park.

"You feel tired?" I asked Lisa while helping her to find her comfortable position

She pressed her back against the headboard of her bed "Kinda." She answered

"You behave here, okay? Obey all the things Nancy will tell you. Take your med on time. I will visit you here when I get the chance."

"Yes, Nini. Video call me every day, yeah? That will be our routine for five months."

I mimicked her position "Of course. I won't last a day without a dose of you."

She leaned her head against mine "Gonna miss you, Nini. When will I be able to see you again?"

"I don't know. I can't visit you every weekend, not until they will go back to Canada."
