Chapter Seventeen: Lost

LISA'S POV

My sight became blurry as soon as they injected the transparent liquid into me. The next thing I knew I was in a dark place. Everything was dark. I am lost. I stayed there for like an eternity. Then I saw a light, far from where I am standing. I tried to chase it but my steps became heavier every step I take then I can't move. I closed my eyes. Just like what my daddy taught me when I feel fear, just close my eyes and breathe. And I did that.

I opened my eyes again. This time I wasn't in the dark place, I am now in our house in Canada.

Then I saw a little girl running, she looks like crying and trying to chase someone. That... that was me.

"Mommy!" The little me cried

My mom kneeled to level the face of little me "Princess, I am so sorry. I need to leave you. I am so sorry, my princess."

"Don't leave us, mommy. Please."

The night my dad kicked my mom out.

"Lisa, go back to your room." My dad came

"But, daddy! Don't kick mommy out, please." Little me begged

I didn't notice that I am now crying. I miss my mom.

"Hey. Hey. Princess, I will come back for you, okay? Just wait for mommy."

Then everything went dark again. What the hell is happening?

"We are here, Lali. You have to wake up faster, okay? We are all waiting for you."

"It's over Lali. You surpassed it, you just have to wake up now and be with us."

"We miss your voice, Lisa. We miss you. You better be fine faster, we still have so many things to do. Do you remember our late-night dreams? You said that after you recovered from your surgery we will go back to dancing, right? I'm waiting for that day, Lisa."

"Lisa-ah... We're going to stay here until you wake up. Don't worry about school, your uncle excused us. Perks of being a friend of Lalisa Manoban. We love you, Lisa."

How can I escape this fucking place? How can I go back? I want to go home.

THIRD PERSON'S POV

It's been a week since the day of Lisa's operation. Her body is responding great and today they will transfer her to her private room but still, she hasn't wake up yet.

"Wake up, Lali." V poked Lisa's nose "You are here in your room."

"Lisa-ah! Wake up!" Rose said in her cute aegyo

"Princess, your friends miss you so much and so I am." Marco chuckled "You said you're a light sleeper but why you haven't wake up yet? Don't you miss us?"

Lisa's doctor came, smiling at them.

"Good day." He greeted

"Good day, doc. How's my daughter's condition?" Marco asked

"She's doing great. Sooner or later she'll wake up." Then he handed a paper to Marco "That's the medicines she needs to take. She'll stay here for three to four weeks. Just like what I've said before, anti-rejection medicines are lifetime medication, I advise that you hire a personal nurse for her after she is released here."
