Chapter Thirty: LLM

JENNIE'S POV

I left Lisa's apartment around six in the morning, Lisa wants to drive me home but I refused, my parents seeing her will never be a good idea even though they haven't seen her yet, instead, Rose drive me home.

"How are you, Jennie?"

"I'm good. Can I go to my room now?"

"How disrespectful of you, young lady!" Daddy yelled

I sighed "What do you want? And why are you here? You should be in Canada."

Daddy was about to yell at me again but mommy said "Go to your room now, Jen. Prepare for the dinner tonight. The Jeon's will have dinner with us."

I rolled my eyes "Do whatever you want, control my fucking life."

Daddy slapped me that made me fall on the floor "We didn't raise you to be a rebellious child!"

I held my face. It sting but the pain in my heart prevailed more. I stood up and let out a mocking chuckle "Hell yeah, you didn't because you just raised me to have a fucking puppet, you raised me to control my fucking useless miserable life! You raised me to be collateral to your fucking depts!"

This is the reason why I don't want to be here in this fucking house, fucking hell.

Daddy raised his hand to slap me again.

"Go! Hit me again! Show us how evil you are! Show us how evil you are as a father!"

Mommy held daddy's hand then she said to me "Go to your room now. Be prepared because we are meeting someone else except the Jeons."

Lisa and I talked over the phone the rest of the day, I tried my best to hide the agony in my voice but I failed when she asked what's wrong, thank God that she believed me when I said that I just miss her.

Mommy entered my room without knocking. How disrespectful.

"You have a package." She handed me a rectangular box

I took it from her hand and placed it on my lap "Thanks." I resumed applying my makeup in front of my vanity mirror

"I'm sorry about what happened. I didn't expect that your dad will.."

"Stop it, mom. If you don't have any more to say. You can leave."

She did leave my room without uttering a word. I felt relieved.

I checked the package on my lap. I opened the letter attached to the top of the box.

I'll see you tonight. Wear this dress later, I know it will be great on you. I love you.

Later? But she didn't invite me and I told her about the dinner tonight. I should call her. I dialed her but she's not answering.

"You look gorgeous tonight, Jennie." Jungkook whispered to me while we are heading to our destination.

We are riding a limousine that Jungkook's family-owned.

I wonder who the hell is that someone we are meeting.
