Chapter Thirteen: Friends

JENNIE'S POV

Flashback

"You'll do what we said."

"Or what, mom?"

"We'll make your friends' life miserable. You are aware of what we are capable of, Jennie." Daddy stood up

"You can't do that! You cannot just control my life!" I shouted

"Don't ever raise your voice on us, Jennie!" Daddy pointed his index finger to me "You're grounded and we'll arrange your engagement with Jungkook next week."

I watched Lisa walk away from me. I am so sorry Lisa. I just want to protect you, I love you so much and I don't want you to get hurt because of me.

"That was a great show." Jungkook said

I glared at him "Don't ever talk to her anymore."

He chuckled "I will if you'll do the same." He sat down "Come and sit, love"

I sighed "Whatever."

It really hurts seeing Lisa with our friends like they are not affected anymore. It's been a week since our fight. I miss my squad so much, especially Lisa. I miss her presence, her touch, and her lips against my skin.

Today, Lisa went to school without her cast. I'm happy that her arm recovered so fast but it also means that she'll have her operation soon.

LISA'S POV

"Ahh! It feels so much easy to move now!" I spread my arms upward

My friends laughed at me.

"By the way, I'll fly to London tomorrow." I informed them

"Haven't your dad told you?" V asked me

"About what?"

"Well, he asked us to join you." Jisoo beamed

"We'll take care of you." Rose said

"How about school? You cannot.."

Rose cut me off "We'll take care of that."

"Thank you, guys." I sincerely said

"Group hug!" V slightly yelled

We group hugged and laughed afterward.

"I'll be there, in your operation day. I promise you that." Jennie's voice rang in my head

Would she be there? Would she fulfill her promise? After our fight.. we never talked about Jennie anymore and I am thankful because it will just add pain to my broken heart.

"Are you okay?" Jisoo whispered, "Don't think about her."

I shook my head "I'm not. I'm thinking about my operation." I lied

The school was over, we are happily walking back to my car when we saw Jungkook kissed Jennie's forehead before she went inside her car.

"You okay?"

I looked at Jisoo and nodded "I shouldn't be bothered by her right now, I'm having my operation the day after tomorrow."

"Let's enjoy London first!" Rose butted in "We'll take a lot of pictures and post it on Instagram."

Jisoo's eyes sparkled "Hell yes!"
