"Me??" He laughs. I want to cry. When I don't respond, he realizes that I'm actually serious.

"I'm sorry, but why do I make you insecure?" He adds.

"Have you seen you're body?" I say. My filters are gone at this point. He also looks shocked.

"I'm flattered but have you seen yourself ??" He rakes up and down my body with his eyes. My heart starts to race again. He scoots closer to me. Oh no.

"Rosalie, you are so beautiful, inside and out. You're like the first girl I met whose appearance matches their personality. Don't even get me started on why you're body's perfect because I won't be able to stop." He takes my hands in his. I am so confused. Is this Silas? Who is this man complimenting me right now? He thinks I'm beautiful. Silas thinks that I'm beautiful.

"I will say it a thousand and one times if I have to, you're beautiful. Everything about you is beautiful." Is this really happening? I'm speechless.

"But," I try to say but he cuts me off.

'No, there are no buts. You're beautiful. Ever since I first laid my eyes on you, I couldn't stop staring." He confesses.

"What?" Is all I manage to say.

"You heard me. If you think that I hated or disliked you, I didn't." Silas says.

"Then why were you mean to me?" I ask. I'm so curious to know why he treated me the way he did.

"I'm sorry. Listen, you are the first girl that I've met that actually intimidated me. Other girls would fall at my feet but you, you're different." I'm shook. I don't respond so he continues.

"If I ever made you feel bad, I'm so sorry. I take back all the mean things that I have ever said to you. Will you forgive me?" He asks. It takes me a minute to digest everything he's saying to me.

"Of course." I smile.

"Ro. I'm going to confess something and I pray to God that it doesn't ruin everything." He says, my hands still in his. I nod and he continues.

"I like you." My heart stops beating. He looks at me worriedly when I just stare back and say nothing.

"Wh-what..?" I stutter. I can't believe it. Silas likes me?

"You heard me. Isn't it obvious?" He smiles. I immediately wrap my arms around his neck and we fall onto the bed. I straddle his lap and he lays back.

"Are you serious?" I sit up. I need to hear him say it again so that I know it's true.

"Rosalie Sailor. I like you." He smiles. "Do you have a middle name?" He asks.

"Mae. Rosalie Mae." I reply.

"As if your name couldn't get anymore beautiful." He smirks. It's almost impossible for me to breath, in a good way.

His eyes and my eyes lock. His light meet my dark ones and everything is silent. The intensity in the room is suffocating. Silas brings his hand to my face and cups my cheek. He's feeling it, I'm feeling it, the anticipation is killing the both of us. He asks permission with his eyes and I nod. This is finally going to happen. My heart beat is beating so fast that I feel like it's going to stop. He leans in slowly and as he does, he keeps his focus on my lips. When his face is half a centimeter away, he stops for a second and looks at me. Then, it happens. His lips cover my mouth and fireworks are shooting everywhere. Instinctually, I wrap my arms around his neck and bring him closer. His soft warm lips move perfectly with mine, guiding me. He tastes of mint and I praise myself for brushing my teeth before this. I break the kiss but keep my arms wrapped around him.
