Tamagoyaki is a most often seen as a side dish for your favorite character's lunch. It is usually paired with rice and other assortments of side dishes. Although it looks like a simple dish, it requires quite a bit of skill to make it. However, with a bit of practice, you can make a egg-cellent dish to pair up with your meals.

Total Time: 15 mins

Ingredients:

⅛ teaspoon dashi powder

⅛ teaspoon salt

¼ teaspoon soy sauce

½ tablespoon sugar

¼ cup water

2 eggs

Vegetable oil

Steps:

1. Combine together the dashi, soy sauce, salt, sugar, and water. Mix until fully dissolved

2. In a seperate bowl, beat the eggs. Then add in the sauce mix and combine well.

3. Heat tamagoyaki pan over medium-high heat and brush oil onto the pan

4. Pour 1/3 of the egg mixture into the pan and cover the pan. When the egg is half-set, roll the egg.

5. Pour another third of the egg mixture into the pan and let the batter flow under the rolled egg. Roll the egg when it is half-set. Repeat this step until there is no more egg mixture left.

6. Slice the tamagoyaki and Serve!!
