Taiyaki is not as common as the other  dishes here, but its unique shape makes it an iconic dish. Shown mostly in festival scenes and as a street food, taiyaki is a warm sweet snack that fills you right up! Imagine eating fish but the fish is sweet and doesn't taste like fish. That's how it feels to eat taiyaki. It can have different fillings like many of the dishes here, but a classic is having red bean paste inside.
