Peter hissed in pain as soon as I dabbed the cotton on his face. There was a slight gash through his eyebrow, barely ending before his eye. If it had gone any farther, he might've lost an eye.

"I know it hurts but I have to help you." I winced at my own wrist as I shifted it to the side.

"I have to help you as well, Elena. You can take a break from being a nurse. Let me take care of you." Peter said, looking up at me.

"I'm fine Peter." I moved my hand away from him, attempting to finish up what I had started. "You're more important."

"That sucks, cause you're more important to me to give me your arm." He hesitated before finishing. "Please."

"Ugh." I handed out my wrist, biting my lip at the pain that exceeded through my entire arm. "I still don't believe he did this."

"He did still," Peter mumbled softly as he took the ice pack I had given him for the bump on his head and placed it instead on my hand. "I'll be fine... I'll eventually heal from all this but you...He hurt you."

"That wasn't the Harry I know. He would never hurt me. He cares about me." I wondered out loud. I knew that Peter wasn't entirely fond of the idea of being friends with Harry, but at this moment in time, I wasn't even sure what Harry and I were. "His eyes..."

"It's his father." Peter murmured, taking a sharp breath as his neck. "The Green Goblin."

"The green -what?" I asked perplexed. To my surprise, Peter was extremely careful, making sure I had no pain as he dealt with my wrist. Assuming he had done this before on many occasions since he was Spider-man.

"The Green Goblin. One of my earlier enemies. His father died... while trying to kill me." Peter attempted to explain. "He became obsessed with Spiderman, trying to figure out who he was, to the point he almost lost himself."

I watched as Peter but his lip, letting silence overwhelm us for a few seconds. I was so new to this entire world of superheroes and villains, it felt crazy to even believe them. But it was hard not to since I had one sitting in front of me.

"I tried to tell him to lay off. And he got mad, said I wasn't a real friend to him since I didn't want to kill-" he tapped his tongue. "Myself really. He wanted to kill me- Spiderman."

I continue to stay quiet, the silence masquerading the sadness hidden inside me. I knew if I opened my mouth, tears would spill out.

"I believe he's been experimenting on himself with the machines his father made." Peter identified. "It's what made the Green Goblin so incredibly strong. It gave him superhuman strength, speed, fast reflexes, et cetera. It's possible he's been doing it low dosages but took too much at that moment." He carefully began to wrap my arm in bandages, lifting my hand slowly so he could get underneath to swing it around. "It's why he was almost an equal match to me."
