Jahseh laid in his bed beside another person, looking up at the ceiling. A grave sadness rested upon him as he waited for his long-distance boyfriend to respond. However he was nervous. This wasn't supposed to be happening. Jahseh was in a relatively decent relationship already with the man lying next to him, whom he'd been with for nearly 8 months now. Squeezing his eyes shut, he felt the light buzz of his phone again, and it lit up as he lifted the small screen off of his chest to look at it.

"Seriously, what's going on? You've been distant. By now, I would know when something's wrong with you, Jahseh..." The man on the other end sent a prying message, hoping to get something out of Jahseh. Little did this man know that Jahseh was already in a relationship beforehand, and that this was infidelity. One day he was going to have to tell his secret lover, but he couldn't decide if now was right.

"I... really don't know if you'd want to hear it."

"And why not? I've never judged you for anything, why would I now? Am I causing a problem or something? Just tell me, Jah..."

"I don't want to hurt you..."

"What..? What does that mean?

Jahseh took a long, deep breath, feeling his heart beat faster as he decided to let his second boyfriend in on his issue. The guy typed slowly, glancing over at the guy laying in bed next to him a few times to make sure he didn't stir or wake. Once, he glanced at the clock, it being far later than he would have liked it to be.

"Michael... I've.. I've been in a relationship... I had him while I was with you...."

"What...? Wait.... you're cheating on me??? 😭"

"No! I mean... I am cheating... but you're the one I'm cheating with... I had this boyfriend like three months before I met you...."

"Oh.. but why didn't you tell me!? I don't want to be part of something like that! I don't wanna hurt people!!"

"Mikey you're not hurting people, I'm the one doing this shit, not you"

"Do you still love me? No... no I was just a toy wasn't I? Have you been playin me this whole time? Jahseh what the fuck, I thought you meant it when you said you loved me through ft 😭😭😭"

If you were dating him three months before you met me that would make it like 8 months... you've put so much work into that... I don't wanna fuck it up. Don't choose me. Go be with him if he makes you happy, I love you and I just want you happy."
