jungwoo sat on his bed, his laptop on his lap as he played a game he found online. lucas was sat next to him ,watching as jungwoo played, emotionless. he studied jungwoo's expressions and frowned when he closed the laptop.
"what's wrong?" lucas asked, taking the laptop from jungwoo and moving it out of the way.
"I miss my mom." jungwoo sighed.
lucas nodded, putting his arm around the boy and rubbing his shoulder, "I miss her too, woo."
jungwoo put his head into lucas' chest and closed his eyes. he didn't feel like crying, however he just wanted some comfort. lucas rubbed the back of jungwoo's head as he crawled over to sit inbetween his legs.
they sat in silence as jungwoo thought. lucas kissed jungwoo's head and smiled lightly as jungwoo giggled softly.
"hey, jungwoo.."
"yeah?"
"do you wanna go on holiday?"
jungwoo's head shot up and he nodded, "where?"
"y'know doyoung's parents beach house?" lucas asked, and jungwoo nodded, his face dropping, "what's wrong?"
"doyoung's parents.. we haven't spoken in years."
lucas frowned but held jungwoo's chin, "dont worry, they wont be there.."
jungwoo's eyes lit up again and he nodded.
"doyoung invited us over, because his parents are going away for a week, so he said we could go there.. does that sound good to you?"
"yes!" jungwoo said softly, "I love the beach house.."
lucas laughed, sitting jungwoo up so he was balanced on his knee, "we're going tomorrow, though."
jungwoo's eyes widened and he panicked, "we have to pack!"
"already done, dont worry," lucas told him, pinching his cheek.
jungwoo groaned, flopping his whole body back across lucas', "god, you're an angel."
lucas shook his head, "that's you."
-
jungwoo looked out the window with his music blaring in his ears. he didn't like long car rides as he had car sickness, so he was trying his best to deal with it.
they were driving to the beach house and lucas was sitting in the back of the car with jungwoo as doyoung drove them. jungwoo's hand was laying in lucas' as lucas slept on his shoulder.
lucas had managed to squeeze into one of jungwoo's hoodies as he found it unfair that jungwoo could wear his, and he couldn't wear jungwoo's.
-
"you two are in the very top room.. just go up the stairs and you'll find a room." doyoung told them, watching out of the window as if he was expecting someone. jungwoo looked at him confused, but smiled when he looked back.
"thank you, doyoungie!"
lucas pulled jungwoo up the stairs, as they were both tired and didn't have the energy to go up the stairs quickly.
the younger pulled the older onto the bed carefully, but with force. jungwoo giggled as his and lucas' bodies compiled ontop of eachother. they laid, staring out of the window at the sea. lucas was hoping that this getaway would clear jungwoo's head.
"we should walk along the beach tonight, how does that sound?"
"sounds amazing.."
-
lucas and jungwoo walked along the beach as the sunset. the sun was bright and was creating a golden atmosphere.
gulls were squawking as they strolled hand in hand. jungwoo held an ice cream in his other hand, as lucas held his phone.
the breeze of the sea swept through their hair, making it messy. they laughed at eachother's scruffy hair and stopped to watch the sea.
lucas wasn't letting go of the older's hand as they stood, the water splashing over their feet.
lucas suddenly turned to face jungwoo, and suddenly it felt like they were in a movie. the younger held the older's face as they placed their foreheads together.
jungwoo giggled, moving his head away, flustered. lucas smiled adoringly as jungwoo held his hands behind his back.
lucas held jungwoo's chin and looked into his eyes before kissing him softly.
this moment was already so special. jungwoo's heart was beating almost faster than their first kiss, and his cheeks were burning red.
lucas was breathing softly into the kiss. all he wanted was for jungwoo to feel loved. he let go of his chin and trailed his hand down his arm to his hand and held it tightly.
they were both content.
