We've been driving for a few hours. I tried asking Milo if he was tired and wanted to switch places, but he refused and said it was fun driving. So I let him be. I put the radio on while looking out the window. The sky was clear, and the colour blue was painted across the largest canvas in the world. I was always bewildered and impressed by how Mother Nature changed the weather. The sun glowed and fell and heated up as time passed. Soon the sky spouted out clouds that meticulously covered the canvas with its gentle, soft ends. I smiled at the change. Then I paid attention to the wildlife around me. I saw the trees move in the faint current of the wind. The body stood tall with its arms stretching out to reach the stars. The leaves were green clouds that steadily fell with time. I caught glimpses of cute animals as we drove by, but I couldn't get my mind off of the animal beside me. He drove silently with the GPS as the guide. I received some glances from Milo, checking on me once in a while. Sometimes our eyes met before we looked away smiling at our eye contact.

     "Milo, are you hungry?"

"No, if you're hungry, you can eat." He replied with his arm leaning on the car door with his hand covering his face, only revealing his eyes. I liked his gestures; it made him look serious and focused.

"Do we need gas? We've been driving for awhile." I don't even remember the gas tank being half full when I left the car.

"Surprisingly, no. It's a full tank." I was surprised by his words.

"The last time I checked, it needed some gas." I said looking over at the meter.

"Well, apparently not." He straightened his back as I leaned in.

"What do you want to do once we get to the city?" I ask him.

"First thing I want to do is rest, after we settled in, I want to explore. Then, the most exciting part." He grinned.

     "What's the most exciting part?"

"You'll just have to wait until we get there." He howled.

"Oh! You need your hat. Let me see where I put it." I searched behind me to no avail.

     "It's in your bag."

"How did you know?" I reached for my bag and found it.

"I had placed it there before we left so I wouldn't forget."

"Alright, got it. Now come closer." Milo slightly leaned in. I moved closer to him and slipped the hat over his head. He leaned back and adjusted it. I stared at him for a bit. That hat looks really good on him. Bless the Lord that I found him.

"It's not nice to stare, Sapphire." He chuckled, running his left hand through his jet-black hair.

"Are you tired yet? I can take over." I ask him once again, leaning on my car door.

"No, I can still drive. It's fun, I like it... Almost as much as I like you."
