WE BELONG TOGETHER

*Chapter Thirty Nine.*

‘’Toney!’’

‘’Lynn!’’ seems like we are both surprised to see one another.

‘’What are you doing here?’’

There is no time to question.

‘’Move.’’ He pushes me aside almost roughly.

I watch wonderstruck as the snake attacks him but Toney is too swift he gets me out of harm's way. Then it charges again and he fights it because now it's attacking him. As it surges towards him he holds it by tail but it slips off because the hold isn't firm.

It bites his left arm but he uses his right hand to strangle it. He is so strong but the snake is huge. And the pain and poison are getting him weak.

I see a stone rush to it and hits the snake breaking its spine. It's subdued.

He kills it.

He motions me to get the first aid kit in his trunk but I am trembling and unable to do anything. He is glaring really hard but I am sure it is not my fault that he has been bitten.

Well, it is partially my fault.

He takes his pocket knife does an incision and gets the fangs out and sucks out the venom from the wound on his left hand.

‘’Get into the car Lynn.’’

‘’No! Really thank you for saving my life.’’

‘’So where will you go at this time of the night with this rain?’’’

‘’Home Toney. The last place I would want to be is your house. Just leave me alone.’’

‘’Listen, I just saved your life right?’’

‘’Yes.’’

‘’If I wanted you dead I would have let the snake bite you. But you are going to be my wife so I can’t let that happen.’’ My heart skips a beat, sinks immediately and I feel like the most useless person in the world.

‘’Your point?’’

‘’I am taking you somewhere, get in you are wasting my time and I hate being rained on because of a stupid argument.’’

‘’Somewhere? No way!’’ I say as I make to move but he reaches for my hand and grips it so hard that it pains.

He then pulls me towards him with so much force it hurts. He opens the back of his car and pushes me in forcefully.

He moves to the other side and enters the driver’s seat.

I coil myself and put my head between my thighs.

There is a very intense headache though.

Toney is driving like a maniac  or a psycho that he is and every time I steal a glance at him he has this evil grin on his face.

‘’Where are you taking me Toney?’’ I am very weak and panic is written all over as I question him.

‘’Relax baby, I will tell you where we are going when we get there.’’

I feel so disgusted and I make a mental note immediately, if ever this fool will try to touch me, I will kill him. I shouldn’t think about killing but if it’s the only way I can be safe then I will do it.

I shouldn’t have gone inside his car in the first place but I had no option, he saved me from the snake that was about to bite me but I would have been better bitten by a snake than be in his arms.

I think about the other car that came before his, what if I had gone in it? Maybe I would be crossing the border by now but that would have been even safer than looking at this monster right here.

I blame my mum in all these, she is leading these people wrongly and that’s why they feel like they own me.

‘’Get out Lynn!’’ his shouting brings me back to reality. I didn’t know how or when he pulled into a parking but here we are.

I lift my head and I can see houses and that only means he didn’t take me to the jungle. But what would have been better?

I move lazily, it’s my fate and whatever comes may, I will take it.

I will not just sit and watch though, I am going to fight back

He leads me to a very big house. Who does this in the village? Such a huge house and for what?

Anyway, that is his choice and I guess he has money.

He shows me to a bathroom and tells me the water in there is warm and that it will give me some warmth

I am moving in there with my clothes because I cannot allow him to see me naked. He grips my hand before I can move far and I try to pull away but he is stronger.

He holds my dress from the neck and tears it easily. He then looks at me with a very slight smirk but I look away from him.

I know he has an evil mind but I am looking at anything that can hit him right on the head but I can’t see.

He makes to touch my boobs but I push away his hands roughly.

‘’Do not even touch me or I will tie you.’’ He says sounding angry.

‘’What do you want?’’

‘’You either come willingly or I will tie you up and fuck all the holes that exists on your body.’’ My heart races and I don’t know who will ever come to my rescue because it is raining and by now I am sure even the river has broken its banks.

‘’Please don’t….’’

‘’Don’t do what Lynn? Do you want that poor idiot, that crazy son of a whore to eat all these and not me?’’

‘’Don’t call him that Toney!’’ I say almost yelling. ‘’Besides, he is the one I love.’’

He is giving me a very hard and mean glare and I feel like he will swallow me in the next few minutes.

‘’If you mention to me about loving him again, I will kill you. We will then both loose and have nothing to argue about.’’ He shouts and I freeze.

He pushes me towards the bathroom.

‘’Go take a shower, you look like shit!’’ he shouts pushing me so roughly. ‘’What will you tell your parents you were doing in a man’s house at this hour?’’ he asks with an evil grin.

I face palm myself once in the bathroom. The water is sure warm as I shower.

I have been in here for like thirty minutes. Toney is outside making so much noise but I cannot just get out.

He kicks the door with just one mighty kick and it sends me flying to the wall. I am hurt and I can feel a smell of blood but I will not concentrate on that now. My life comes first!

I make to stand up but he comes holding me.

He is touching my boobs inappropriately and I move away. There is no moving space though, because I am pinned on the wall

‘’Come on Toney, I will give you what you want. Don’t you have a bedroom or anything? ’He senses a lie in my voice and sure enough, he moves and holds me with so much force.

His boner is big, massive, huge and really crooked, it sure going to tear my labia apart. I am shedding tears and calling on my God silently to save me.

Give me strength to do something serious, I look at him in the eye and his eyes are blood shot. He is breathing so strongly and I am not sure what next is going to happen to me.

I think I should just give him access.

I let him hold me as I plan to hit back.

He holds me to himself when he thinks I have surrendered.

I let him and pretend that I am enjoying his touch. My heart is beating that I am sure the people who live in the neighbourhood can hear its sound.

I know he doesn’t have a gun because I have searched him in the pretence of caressing him.

He brings closer his shaft but as if on cue, I kick it with all the might using my knee. He cries out loud rolling on the floor.

I take that as my signal to run away.

I see my dress and pick it quickly. I still have my panty on.

My bag is lying on a chair as I walk out and I pick it quickly too.

I open the door and I am about to walk out when I meet this very many faces at the door. I have seen some of them before but some I have never seen.

The reality hits me then, he is groaning in pain and that must have woken up everyone.

‘’What is happening here?’’ someone from the group asks as they push their way in.

They don’t seem to have noticed me because everyone has gone towards where the sound is coming from.

I move out stealthily, take the key and lock the door from outside.

I throw the bunch of keys just somewhere they might find easily.

I don’t know what time it is but I am sure those guys will come after me.

I am going to sleep in the bush because even if I wanted to call for help I will not be able to do it. I don’t want to worry dad and also I have no one to run to.

I walk for several kilometres without a break. I am suspicious of any light I see so I am just walking in the bushes of the road.

I keep walking until I am tired.

I see a bigger  bush next to the road and decide I will sleep under the trees

I am moving blindly, lazily and tiredly.

I am feeling dizzy but I am holding on so tightly hoping I won’t fall

I bump into a very soft body at the same time when everything turns black.

The person catches me mid-air but I can’t do anything.

I loose consciousness in the hands of a stranger.
