This is probably gonna be weird. And high school-ish.

There's no way to say this song's about someone else,

The crew was practicing for a competition in Tord's garage. It was where they usually practiced, and Tord's parents didn't mind at all. Matt brought his keyboard, Tom brought his electric bass, Edd brought his microphone, and Tord had his drum set (I'm going by a map I saw on YouTube :3).

"So, what're we playing? Did you make the lyrics yet?" Tom asked, pulling the strap of his bass over his head. "No... but the competition is REALLY soon, so we should hurry up and get those lyrics done. By 'we', I'm asking you to... maybe... help me out." Edd replied, seeming a bit shy about it. "Of course! We'll help you!" Matt announced, loud and bubbly as always.

Every time you're not in my arms, I start to lose myself...

Tord nodded. "We're here for ya, Edd." Edd smiled at everyone, happy to be supported. His stress faded away and he whispered something to Tom. "Well, me and Edd are gonna go to the store. He forgot to bring paper." Tom said. "Uhm, I have paper-" Tom cut Tord off with a cough. "ANYWAY, me and Edd are gonna go now." "Dude, this isn't a time to make out in the boy's bathroom of a Meijers, we've got work to-" "Bye!" Edd and Tom bolted out of the house, leaving Tord and Matt.
Someone please pass me my shades,

Tord groaned and shook his head. "Matt, I have paper. We should really start getting the lyrics done... or... we should at least start them." Matt nodded and tested his keyboard out while Tord went to his backpack. He pulled a few pages of lined paper out and sat down on the wooden floor. "God, they always leave us with the work..." Tord mumbled. Matt walked over to him and sat down. Tord handed Matt a pencil and paper, and they started brainstorming.

Don't let 'em see me down...

After thirty minutes went by, Tord was furious. They were running out of time to make a song, yet two members of the group left to go on some kind of date. "I can't believe them..." Tord grumbled. Matt scooted closer to him and put a hand on his shoulder to comfort him.

"Well, at least they showed up at all. Remember last Thursday?" Matt's words only made Tord more angry. "Yes, and days like that proves that they aren't actually serious about being in a band! We don't even have the fucking lyrics! We still have to get a good beat, Edd has to see HOW to sing the goddamn song, I'm getting really aggravated!" Tord's voice started getting louder as he talked.

You have taken over my days, so tonight I'm going out.

Matt knew that Tord had mild "aggression issues", but he felt similarly. "I know, and this seems really bad, but I've got a few lyrics!" Matt's attempt at cheering Tord up worked. Tord took Matt's paper and read over the lyrics he came up with.

"These are... not bad. Wow." Matt smiled and winked. "Man, I thought you were retarded before this..." Matt's smile fell into a frown. Tord laughed and patted Matt's shoulder, grinning ear-to-ear. "I'm just kidding, buddy. But seriously, these are legitimately good lyrics." Matt huffed, crossing his arms. "Yeah, I know." He sassed, making Tord laugh more. "Well, since we've worked for quite a while, wanna help me look for the others?" Matt nodded, and the pair stood up. They left Tord's garage and toured the area, looking for Edd and Tom.

Yeah, I'm feeling like there is no better place to be than right by your side~.

"If I were gay and rude, where would I make out with my boyfriend?" Tord joked, earning a giggle from Matt. Tord didn't know why, but his cheeks became a bit pink. "Matt, what shape is the pole of Tom's stripper mom?" Tord asked jokingly (don't imagine it XD). "...You mean the bowling ball? I'm not sure..." "It's shaped like a pineapple!" "Tord... what?" "It's- nevermind." The two found themselves at the nearest bar.

"But... they're underage! They wouldn't drink... right?" Matt questioned, still partially innocent. Tord bit down on his lip to keep himself from laughing and looked away. Matt facepalmed and grabbed Tord's wrist, dragging him into the bar. Tord blushed at the contact and pulled his wrist out of Matt's hand once they stopped walking.

"Aren't there supposed to be guards here?" Matt was a bit concerned about their obvious entry. "At a bar? I mean... no?" Tord shrugged. "You've never gotten a drink before?" "Well... I had a little taste." Tord gave Matt an awkward smile and looked around. 'I could've sworn that they'd be here...' Tord thought to himself. "And I'm always for you~." Matt sung as they headed towards the men's bathroom.

"Oh yeah, that was one of the lines from the lyrics you came up with." Tord commented. "Yeah! I really like them!" Matt chirped. "What was the next line?" Tord inquired. "The party anywhere~." Tord nodded and touched a hand to his face. His face was still burning up, and it got hotter when Matt continued singing. "'Cause all the girls are looking fine, but you're the only one on my mind~." "Matt, you should've been our singer..."

Tord heard some voices in the bathroom, so he scanned the area for green and blue. He found them all over each other by the sink, making out as he assumed. "Eww! PDA! PDA!" Matt screeched. Edd and Tom split apart, looking over at Matt. "Oh, the horror! What ever shall we do, Matt?!" Tord played along with Matt, dramatically falling into Matt's arms.

"Tord, no!" "Save yourself, Matt! It's too late for me!" Tord faked a cough. "Alright jackass, that's enough." Tom interrupted, unamused by their comedic skit.
