Tord's POV:

I've been skateboarding ever since 6 in the morning. My sleeping schedule on Fridays are really starting to take a toll on my body. My eyebags aren't a pleasant sight, and I'm not very careful when I'm tired. So, my knees, hands, and elbows are pretty scraped up.

Why do I wake up early on Fridays again? Oh yeah... it's because of my roommate. On other days of the week, I have to work. Paying the rent sucks for both me and my roommate, Tom. I hate him. All he does is yell and he hits me, but I'm not a victim. I hit back and scream at him too, so I guess it's fair.

On Fridays, he's home at 5 in the morning all the way to 11 at night. On those days, I prefer to stay outdoors. Seriously, fuck Tom. Why can't I stay in bed? Well, the bastard will pull pranks on me and do dumb shit, and it annoys me. Plus... skateboarding is what keeps me sane. It's really calming, and it keeps my mental state and emotional state balanced.

I realized that I was about to ride right into the grass, so I hopped off. I sat on the ground next to my skateboard, wondering where Matt was. He'd usually arrive at this time. Then, I saw him. I knew it was him because of his ginger hair, square chin, and mismatched socks. That was always something I noticed about him; his mismatched socks. I just wear white socks that are nearly up to my knees.

He walked over to me, holding a purple skateboard. "So, you got the skateboard?" "Yup! I'm ready to learn, master!" I blushed when he said 'master'. It made me think of my hentai. "C-cool, hang on." I stood up and grabbed my skateboard, setting it down away from the grass. "Well, you've tried the skateboard out? It's a bit different from using a longboard." Matt nodded, smiling. He seemed excited, and it made me laugh.

"What's so funny?" "You're acting like I'm the best skateboarder in the world. It's just a hobby for me." "You're the best skateboarder I've ever seen and met!" I blushed more at Matt's compliment. I turned my head away from him to make sure that he didn't see it.

"Th-thanks." "No problem, Todd!" "Tord." "Tord!" When the blush faded from my face, I looked back at him. "Alright, I'll teach you a few tricks for beginners. Last week, I saw that you know how to do a chinese nollie. Nice job." Matt blushed a bit and nodded. "Do you know any other tricks?" I continued. "Hmm... well... I can do an ollie." "Ah, good. That's one of the best ones you can know. Do you know how to do a 'bluntslide'?" "No, what's that?" "I'll show you."

I used a trick to get on my skateboard, 'straight to revert'. "Ooh." I chuckled at that and just rolled around for a short bit. "Alright, watch closely." I pressed my front foot down, making the tip of my skateboard slide against the ground. Then, I lifted my foot a bit to let the skateboard go back to how it normally is.

"Oh, okay!" I hopped off of my skateboard and went up to Matt, holding my skateboard under my arm. "Make sure to pay attention. The trick even frightens me sometimes." I admitted. "Okay, I can do it!" Matt got onto his skateboard and kick-started it, riding around for a short while.

Then, he attempted to do the bluntslide. He started falling, so I ran to him and pushed him to make him fall in the grass. Matt squeaked and fell onto his butt. "Sorry, are you alright?" He jumped up onto his feet, surprising me.

"That was so much fun! I had it! Did you see how good I was?" I smiled and laughed a bit. "Yeah, you did great. Try again, and be a little more gentle on the front of the skateboard." Matt nodded and tried again. This time, he kinda did it, but not really. At least he stayed on the skateboard this time.

For a while, I taught him how to do it. It isn't very easy to learn, but it could be useful. I think that I pushed him into the grass or caught him about thirty times by now. Finally, Matt did it. "There you go." I said, and Matt hopped off of his skateboard. "Yay! Do I get a prize?" "You learned a trick. That's your prize." "Aww, c'mon." "I don't have anything to give you, dummy." Matt squinted his eyes at me.

"For that, you owe me a hug!" "H-hug?" Matt walked over to me, and I backed away. "I-I'm not one for hugs, how about another trick?" My back hit a tree and I sweat-dropped. "How about a h-hardflip?" Matt's arms wrapped around me, and I went red-faced. I didn't hug back, mostly because I dislike being touched. But... by Matt... it felt weird. It made me feel weird. 'Damnit, not again...'
