》chapter 4《

Sandor jumped at my words and yelled at the poor stark bastard who happened to be walking by. "You! Tell the Queen that the baby's coming!"

The poor boy looked both frightened and confused. "What baby-"

"Go!" Sandor roared.

I was about to start walking when I felt an sudden pain go thru me. I grabbed onto Sandor's arms and groaned. His iron armour was coldagainst my hands but I needed the support.

Quick steps came from the Hall and as people came running out with my sister in the lead, Sandor lifted me up in his arms and walked after the measter who was waving calmly for the big man to follow him.

It went quite quickly after that. I remembered when Cersei had Joffrey. She was in labour for an awfully long time. For me, it took 5 hours, and the child was out. My sister held my hand the entire time just like Jaime and I had during the birth of her three children while King Robert was drinking himself to a sooner death.

Maester Luwin gave me my healthy little baby girl after washing her off. She was the most beautiful thing I've ever laid eyes upon. I stroke her cheek while she slept in my arms.

My siblings came into my room to see their new niece.

"She's beautiful," Tyrion stated.

"May I hold her?" Cersei asked, and I gave her my child.

Jaime looked over at the babe in my sister's arms. "Have you chosen a name yet?"

"I was thinking Dyanne," I said.

"Dyanne Waters or Snow?" Jaime asked.

"What?" I asked. "She's not a bastard!"

Cersei gave her twin a stern look. "She's a Lannister."

Jaime looked at us as we gave him matching scowls. "Alright."

Tyrion stood from the stool he had been sitting on and stretched before reaching towards the door handle. "Well, rest well, little sister, but for me, the night is still young."

"It's almost dawn," Cersei said dryly.

He waved as he left.

When my oldest siblings also were about to leave, I grabbed Jaime's arm. "Could you check if Clegane's still awake?"

He looked uncertain for I second but soon gave a sympatic looking smild "Of course." He said, before kissing my forehead and walking out.

Sandor soon stood in the doorway with the same grumpy expression and I moved over, signalling to him to sit don't on the side of the bed. He slowly walked over and hesitated before sitting down. The bed sunk down deeply under his weight.

"look!" I said showing off my child.

"It's a baby." He stated.

"Indeed, it is."

We sit quietly for a while. I forgot why I had asked him in here and what I really wanted to say. Sandor soon said: "There's gonna be a haunt tomorrow,"

"You're going?" I asked.

"Yeah," He grunted. "We'll probably be gone by the time you wake up."

"Wait, Sandor!" I said and grabbed onto his iron covered wrist. He turned around before he could make his way to the door. "Thank you."

"It was my job," he stated.

I looked down sadly. "Of course," He gets extra payment for this I presume.

We didn't say anymore after that and he soon left to get some sleep himself.

He was right, I woke up long after they left. A maid came in with a tray of breakfast and soon Catelyn and Sansa came in to see the child. They dragged the youngest daughter, Arya, along as well but she didn't care much about it. At her age, I wouldn't have cared too much either, so I understood her.

My niece and nephew came by as well. Not Joffrey since he went hunting with the men. Tommen was upset that he couldn't go, his mother had insisted that he was to young and his father didn't care to argue. But the frown on his face soon turned upside down when he saw the little girl in my arms.

Myrcella talked about how she would show Dyanne the red keep and play with her everyday. "We can play in the garden and ride around all day!" She had explained.

"That might have to wait a few years, when she can walk with her own two legs," I explained, but smiled at her excitement.

Tommen looked over my shoulder. " But don't you think, that if I take one hand and Myrcella the other, that she could walk with us."

I laughed heartly at the innocence in his voice. "I'm afraid not, I little babe like this can't even hold her own head up."

"Oh," Tommen said.

The day past quite quickly. They wouldn't allow me to leave my chambers for the whole day. All I did all day was spending time with my daughter. My own daughter. Even though I had been looking at her beautiful face all day, I couldn't wrap my head around the fact that she's my own; that I made her.

It was later that night that Tyrion came into my room and sat down beside me. He had a sorrowful look in his eyes. Not the look the used to bear when we were younger and the other children had made fun of him. More like the one he had when his cat had been targeted by the butchers hound and father had told him that it was his own fault for not looking after the feline.

"Brandon Stark fell from a tower earlier today," He said calmly.

I gasped. "What? Is he alright?"

"He's unconscious but alive,"

"Why hasn't anyone told me earlier?" I asked.

Trion shifted in his seat. "well..." He began, "...considering your circumstances, we were afraid to tell you. We didn't know how you would react."

I was confused. "What do you mean?"

"He fell from a tower," he said slowly, "Just like..."

"Oh," I laughed awkwardly. "Don't worry about that. I'm fine."

He gave me an unsure look. Why did he worry so much about me? I wasn't a little girl; I could handle the truth. Or maybe not.

A tear fell down my face. "You're not fine." He said.

"I'm sorry. I don't know why this is affecting me so much."

Tyrion took my hand and squeezed it tightly. "It's understandable. He was your husband after all."

"I never loved him."

"But you cared for him, and that's enough."

I smiled thru the tears at my older brother. "He was a kind man."

"I know," he hugged me, carefully not to squash the baby between us. "I know."
