Waking Up

Hazels P.O.V

As I was sitting in the hospital bed waiting for my parents to shut up so I could tell them I was light headed and nauseous but the would not shut up.

"Mom!" I yelled.

"What Hazel?" She shot back.

"I- I fell a little sick." I passed out- again. I was passed out but I could hear my mom crying and my dad running and yelling "help we need a doctor", but that not all I heard... I heard a loud beep and I realized it was my heart monitor saying my heart was not beating, but it was. I knew it was because I can hear everything and I am alive. I dozed off after a while because it started to get boring, not knowing if I was gonna love or die, the norm.

I woke up in what seemed was 2 minutes but my parents were waiting for 3 months for me, well that's what they said. After all that we had a heart-to-heart moment but I don't remember it because all I could think about was my baby.

I thought about it being alive or dead, like its father, but I knew what I was waiting for, another disappointment.

The doctor came in and he told me everything about my new cancer, yeah cancer, new cancer... and he told my my baby was okay! I was relieved, and I could tell people... I was 3 months that's the rule.

"Mom, can I call Isaac?" I asked

"You don't have to." she answered.

As he walked in, well fell in... he laughed and said "Just kidding... I'm not blind anymore... the robot eyes came in, and even though I didn't want to see a world without Augustus Waters, I don't have to, in the 3 months you have been... away many thing have happened."

"Wait. What?" I said as Augustus Waters, my loving boyfriend and the father to my child, walked in...
