Lost

PoV: 3rd Person

"Sonic, Eggman started activating his ship," a two tailed fox spoke into his headset. His message targeted to the hero team's blue leader, Sonic the Hedgehog, "You've got to get to him before he takes off."

"I'm on my way," Sonic replied through a communication device on his right arm.

"Just be careful, his ship is in the ocean," The fox, Miler Prower, replied, "We all know you can't swim."

"Seriously? He had to be in the ocean. Tails, I'll meet you at the randevue point, you've got to fly me too the ship," the blue hedgehog replied, within a second he was where he said he'd meet Tails, "Alright buddy I'm here."

"I'm on my way," Tails, the fox kit, turned his plane around, flying just low enough for Sonic to jump on.

"Hey bud," Sonic smiled as he rode on the plane his closest friend flew, "Where are the others?"

"Amy's on her way. Knuckles jumped into the ship a while ago," the yellow fox replied.

"Drop me on the landing flat," Sonic pointed to the platform where their villain, Eggman, often launched attacks from.

  The fox kit nodded in confirmation, flying low, allow the hedgehog to jump into the platform. The blue hedgehog ran into the base ready for a fight. The stream of blue energy followed Sonic as he ran through the base at the speed of sound.

  A sudden explosion lead to the collison of Sonic and debri of steel wall particles. The metalic duplicate of himself appeared from the dust of the explosion, Metal Sonic.

"Its been a while since our last fight," Sonic dusted himself off and prepared himself to battle.

  Those metal did not speak, the two had an almost physic connection. Each capable of reading the others thoughts. It became an endless battle of attack, dodge, and attacking the dodge. Their battle quickly destroying the interior of the base, destabilizing it's defence against the water outside it.

"Oh oh oh oh oh!" Eggman laughed as Sonic was thrown into his sight by Metal, "Sonic! My old nemesis," the eggshaped man grined as he witness Metal pinning Sonic to the ground, "I've finally caught you."

"Nice try," Sonic relaxed to throw Metal off his balance and kicked the robot off himself, "But you can never catch me."

"Well see about that!" Eggman pushed a button, a glass container appeared. A prison for Sonic, "I'll put you on display! Showing the world how their hero had fallen!"

  Sonic attacked Metal with enough force to leave the room. Metal, constantly attempting to get Sonic locked into the prison.

"I FOUND YOU!" A furious red echidna, who had been destroying the ship in search of Metal Sonic, threw a punch at the machine.

"Knuckles!" Sonic jumped back from the fight, "Find a chaos Emerald?"

"Not yet... but I will..." he grunted as he struggle to push the machine back.

  Sonic jumped through the hole his teammate made, searching for the engin to destroy the fort. Once found he began a hailstorm of attacks upon the item. Once the first crack was made, pressure caused it to spead, the engine one have moment before it exploded.

"Sonic!" The red echidna joined him.

"Knuckles, come on. It's time to go!" Sonic took off running, the echidna far behind, "Ah!"
